For Christmas stitching I have a Shepherd's Bush stocking to stitch for my 11th grandchild. He will be one year old in November. I have stitched a Shepherd's Bush stocking for each of our other 10 grandchildren. It's a great family tradition!

Stitching Christmas-hmmm I’m all about Christmas ornaments. Many years ago, I was so into needlepoint painted canvas stitching because I didn’t have to count, there is so much fibers and stitches to try, so I abandoned cross stitch. I told my girls my goal was to have a tree that was covered with needlepoint ornaments or hand made ones. They laughed since they knew I have a lot of starts and midway projects. At some point I had more than enough that it was in competition with the Hallmark ornaments and to think we usually have a 9’ tree. So I have multiple trees so there is room for everyone. I finished and had ffo’d one needlepoint ornament stocking. I also have to fully finish 25 Crosseyed Cricket mitten ornaments for one of my daughters. I already finished 25 mini stockings from Needl Love Company. Thanks!

I stitch an ornament every year for my grandchildren! So I started stitching Christmas in July! My son is engaged to a wonderful lady who has 3 girls so this year I have 11 ornaments to do! I have 7 done already so am feeling pretty good. None are FFO'd yet which always takes more time than I think it should! I love your videos! Your 10 WIPs are amazing! Yes, you need to take time off once in a while to get rejuvenated! If you don't you will most definitely burn out! Have a great week or so until your next video!

I am working on A Pennsylvania Christmas Sampler by The Good Huswife which I started a million years ago. I have some of Sally Mavor’s books, too. I went to one of her exhibits at a museum in southern Illinois several years ago. Seeing her work in person is unbelievable.
