From what I heard, it literally is. Apparently IDWs devs allows other devs to make reskins of the game for a fee or something like that and there have already been multiple examples.

Both of them are reskins, this specific formula is pretty overused in mobile gaming but that's a good thing because that means there is an aesthetic for everyone who likes this type of game.

The combat is so bad that you can just pay you’re way through it, lol. If they wanted to do a dating a dating sim, why didn’t they just do that. The only point of the RPG elements is to stall you from reaching the next story segment. It’s one of those games that the combat is just a stop gate to get you to pay or grind.

As someone who regularly plays this game, I have to say that it really isn’t that bad. I will admit that it is hard to get into but once you found yourself a stable founding after being strong enough to compete in events which are actually quite fun, the game does have a lot to offer. At first I really didn’t care for the story but as I progressed, I really found myself invested into the lore
