I agree. The best first line ever written, if not the best line in general, is "the man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed..."

The long walk was the most disturbing story I have ever read. I agree with Steve that the story is about the journey and what ever the ending is doesn’t matter nearly as much. Enjoy the read.

I love that King does all these interviews. I feel like their great for fans and fellow writers. However, I've watched so many of them since COVID started that I'm starting to recognize things in the back. Like that fish tank. I haven't started the video yet, but that tank looks pretty dark. Where all the fish at?

Good heavens. I didn't know it was a fish tank until I read the comment above. I thought it was some kind of spirit showing up. *laughs*

Someone needs to tell Stephen that audio dramas are still a a thing, and more of a thing these days because of the internet. It feels like he's unaware of the technology around him but that's ok. Great guy. Also whats up with the tanks? A commenter says it's a fish tank? If so, why is it so dark? I've never seen such a thing. Reminds me of oil. Is it an oil canister? I'm joking but seriously what is it? But yeah it looks like he's in some warehouse garage or something but he's in his actual house.

Not a fan of Lisey's Story unfortunately. The weakest King story I've read to date in my opinion. The terms he uses are way overused and gets annoying at times. I read it to get through it before the series came out, because of my dislike of it, I don't particularly want to watch the series now. I'm about a third the way through his writings and have not been reading in order. Lisey's Story is the only one I don't like so far.

Still, it's extremely impressive that King wrote Lisey's story at his age.

I used to live and breath stephen king books until I found the Lord . Now I realize how demonic they really are.
@JerodimusPrime2 жыл бұрын
Lol, good luck with that 😂
@IrishTechnicalThinker Жыл бұрын
His books are absolutely brilliant and not demonic, The Green Mile is massively Christian as John Coffey. His initials are JC Jesus Christ and was executed for his righteousness. Heals the sick and comforting the lost. It's like saying Lord of the Rings is demonic when in fact Tolkien was a devote Christian.
