Always get the baffles, you need the back pressure for performance unless your just into loud pipes.

I think these are perfect for the rider that wants some growl but has neighbors to consider. Quiet enough to get you out of the neighborhood until you can really open her up. Nice!

I just can’t seem to like the quieter tone lol. The zombie baffles will always win my heart. Kw has really good quality control tho

They are the next best thing to 2-1's. With performance headers they will dyno almost the same numbers as 2-1.

Need to do a Header comparison and maybe see the numbers on the Dyno between the Khromewerks 2 different style headers. They offer a 2 into 2 (True dual) header as well as a 2-into1 style header. The 2 into 1 come with 4" Mufflers while the 2 into 2 come with 4.5" mufflers. Is the scavenging of the 2 into 1 making that much of a difference ? Other than sound. Does 4" vs 4.5 mufflers impact performance? Does the stepped true duals compensate enough to make the needed vacuum to self scavenge ? There are lots of unanswered questions in this area and I think with a little work we may get some good enough answers that will help customers make educated choices.

Yes. We have the answers but it wasn’t done for a video. We have been compiling data four almost five years and pair the correct exhaust to the correct motor. Lots of good choices out there. @@MoonshineHarley interesting....what headers and exhaust set up would you use for a 2017 Street Glide M8 107 with a redshift 468 cam? Alren Ness 90* monster sucker or Arlen Ness Inverted Series Air Cleaner?

I got off the phone with V&H customer service asking what setup would be best for performance since I did the 128 HD kit. They said the power duel headers and get this "factory stock mufflers". Now if I wanted a good note, there were many different options to run with but that was their recommendation for performance.

We have our recommendation with dyno number on almost all options out there. Call the shop 615-274-4170 ask for Aaron, Jamie or Nick Tuesday - Saturday. We are open 7 days a week but you’ll need to speak to one of the guys on the HP team.

Do these void the factory warranty if installed by HD dealership?

No. Unless you pair them with a head pipe and install an aftermarket tuner.

So is it the header that voids the warranty? Or the aftermarket tuner? I'd like some headers and s&s 475 cam installed but hoping if it's done through harleh with their tuner it'll still be covered with warranty

With the baffles being removed and it being stock, that didn’t change the back pressure or stock tune?

It did change the back pressure. If you install them with the factory head pipe you can get away without tuning. If the baffles where installed it would run better in the lower RPM’s but not have the same sound.

@@MoonshineHarley What's the amount of 'run better in the lower rpms' are we talking about? Negligible or noticeable? What do the performance baffles buy you with these slipons?
