Dear Parimal, Im surprised when you say, FIIs would not like to invest in Chinese Market due to " Trust" issues. I think only Trust that works in the markets is the one created by profits. Chinese markets are cheap with a PE of around 10, much lower compared to Indian markets which ate ckearly ivervalued. If foreign investors find PRC's stimulus package working, they will enter , maybe even at athe expense of Indian markets. Regards.

Chinese and HK index never had premium PE. Always been 7-12 range against our mkt never been below 17. Our PE range shifting upwards due wider participation.

Sir, Your point is well taken. However, as far as wider participation is concerned, China is the second largest economy and at the present stage is way ahead of India, as far as investments is concerned.indian markets hold tremendous promise but with the current valuations also have immense scope for volatility. Whereas Chinese markets, with low PE and upcoming recovery offer a stable and more reliable basket. The question is whether one would like to invest in a recovering cheap market or an expensive volatile market. Having said that Im gungho about Indian growth story, however with due caution.
