In the last 3 days, when stock prices plunged Retail investors sold $1 Billion. Institutional investors bought +$14 Billion. This is Market manipulation at its finest.

Short term price movement is largely manipulated by market makers and algos (and later justified by ANAL-lyst using bullshit reasons) ... e.g. driving prices down to scare and force weak holders to sell....its like a game of poker... bluff the weak hands to fold their cards so the pros can grab their money and their shares more cheaply.

Having experienced this recent crash firsthand, I can attest to the importance of working with a financial adviser. My adviser helped me implement a diversified strategy tailored to my long-term goals.

That does make a lot of sense; you appear to understand the market better than we do. This coach is who?
@Aarrenrhonda34 ай бұрын
Actually its a Lady. Yes my go to person is a ‘ Annette Christine Conte'. So easy and compassionate Lady. You should take a look at her work.

I found her page by searching for her entire name online. After that, I emailed her and we set up a meeting so we could talk; I'm currently waiting on her response.

I currently have a $280k stock portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and QQQ overlap too much to make sense holding both?

You might also follow a lots stocks across other industries. I'll advise you to work with a financial advisor who can assist you decide when is the best to buy and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire since you don't have to act on every forecast.

No doubt, having the right plan is invaluable, my portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit 100% rise from early last year. I and my CFP are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take till Q3 this year.

What I don’t understand is, on one hand we are told the stock market will crash and yet on the other we are told ways of investing in the stock market. Oxymoron or paradox? I'm considering investing over 150k, but I'm uncertain about risk mitigation strategies.

Not a great month so far but if you step back and actually look you will see the S&P 500 was up for the first Quarter. In the last 30 days, my IRA saw a gain of $70k. You might also consider financial advisory looking at your capital.

The market doesn’t have to be a rollercoaster if you know your way around it. There are plenty of opportunities in the current market to generate good profits. If you’re not too familiar with the market, consider buying and holding strong companies with solid earnings, or consult with advis0rs on ETFs and actively managed funds.

I’ve been thinking about getting one, but I’ve been a bit relaxed about it. Could you recommend your advis0r? I’d really appreciate the help.

The continuously changing economic conditions in our society have made it necessary for people to find additional sources of income, thus I am looking at the stock market to fuel my retirement goal of $3m, my only concern is the recent market crash.
@LarsBergstrom-uh2eu4 ай бұрын
Every crash/collapse brings with it an equivalent market chance if you are early informed and equipped, I've seen folks amass wealth amid economy crisis, and even pull it off easily in favorable conditions. That should be the least of your concern. Also explore the option of working with a CFA to reduce greatly your chances of loss.

Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.

Keynesianism. Fabricate inflation: transfer people's money to the banks and then after make people return the money through fiscal and tax laws. How distracted can people be and for how long?

Bloomberg guests are always very negative. Cnbc ones tend to be more positive- and they have proved to be more accurate thus far. Let's see how it plays out but bloomberg needs a more balanced view. I love bloomberg broadcasters but sometimes they get guests with extreme political views especially republicans; there was onelast week on Jonathan's show. That is simply terrible and unacceptable because this isn't Fox News.

I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $117k stock portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of this bear market?
