Good idea Mr. Valuation 👍🙌limit your reviews to 15. No more. Your putting to much valuable energy into second rate stocks. I hope someday you just pick ten value or dividend stocks that you like 👍🙌🙏🏽❤️💴

Good idea to pare down the number of stock you go through. This was a pretty decent review despite your speed on 20 picks. Going with 15 and spending those extra 20-30 seconds appeals to me. Thank you!

Mr. Valuation does it again. Great lessons in here. I'd love to see you do a thematic video on preferred stocks, perpetual and term preferred stocks (of which there are few). In this climate, there are some mispriced preferred stocks that are beaten down and paying nice dividends. CEPQ, CODIC, RILYB...And a number of these like ARGOA have reset rates that I think might be really attractive for subscribers whereby if the preferred stock is not called by a certain date the dividend resets to a base rate plus the then current LIBOR or 5 year T note. This provides some interest rate protection. I'd be curious as to your opinions on these.

Hey chuck. I’d love to see an analysis of railroad stocks like UNP, CNI, etc. I think rails are still very relevant and will continue to be.
@anthonyb56302 жыл бұрын
@golden turd Zeniru I highly agree. As someone who works in the industry, I see the immense demand for freight with railroads and just not enough engines and rails so it’s easy to want to buy in. But yes it is pretty clear the railroads are historically expensive.

Curious as to why you would look at BAM from a PE perspective considering the primary performance measure management uses is funds from operations (FFO). In addition, once BAM converts to a 'capital light' business model (expected to occur late 2022), the dividend will be a % of Distributable Earnings (DE). The manner in which asset managers generate income is very different from your typical 'operating' company. How does FAST Graphs take into consideration major acquisitions or divestitures when comparing historical results versus projected results? The very nature of BAM's business (and Blackstone (BX) for that matter) is that they continually raise billions from sophisticated investors and regularly acquire and divest assets. Trying to compare the BAM (or BX) of the present with the BAM (or BX) of the past is like comparing apples and oranges. Furthermore, how can you look at historical BDX and try to draw a comparison with BDX of the future. BDX made two transformational acquisitions (Carefusion and CR Bard) and has recently spun off Embecta (BDX's former Diabetes Care business). BDX prior to the 2015 Carefusion acquisition is definitely not the BDX of the future.

Chuck, Could you have a look at LII, WIX, LMT, BA, X, SOFI ? And, I have a question about the way Fastgraphs plots the stock price over earnings, dividend, cashflow lines. I kind of like the way you present these graphs, but I am unable to plot and interpret them the way you do. The thing is that the "height" of the stock price line over the green area and the orange line changes as you manipulate the timeframe. Could you explain the math behind it? Looking at one timeframe a stock can look attractively priced, however when you shorten the timeframe the stock price line goes up and the stock starts looking overpriced. So which timeframe is correct? Which timeframe should I be looking at? In general, could I ask for a bit more in depth explanation about the maths going behind every line on the graphs produced by Fastgraphs? With a bit more focus on the price line. I have a vogue understanding of why it moves up and down while the other lines stay in one place.

@FASTgraphs2 жыл бұрын
V R : there are multiple reasons why I prefer looking at cash flows for MLPs. For one, these companies tend to continuously sell shares in the open market diluting shareholders. Consequently, the earnings-per-share generated for example 5 years ago are typically spread out over fewer shares in the company currently has outstanding. Therefore, earnings comparisons are to a smaller apples to oranges. Furthermore, MLPs tend to be below average growers with above-average income. consequently, I am primarily interested in seeing whether cash flow is covering the dividend. And consistent billing is a critical component with the time you. I hope that helps, Chuck

Google looks cheap FCFO wise, and even cheaper once you discount the cash at hand. How many companies in the planet can buyback 70BL worth of share and still have tens of BLs left of cash....I think you are wrong there looking at eps. Big tech are cash cows, they should be judged for that

here is a link to a more comprehensive analysis of GOOGL that I posted in November 2021. In the video you will see that I look at the company from all aspects including cash flow and all other metrics available on FG. I never limit myself to only looking at one. .with all due respect, I feel what you're confusing here is the difference a person is personally comprehensive. Furthermore, I tend to agree with you regarding, I also was companies like Amazon this way as well. Thanks for offering your perspective, Chuck
