Clint, you said something that was like reading my mind. After our 1st game, when my friend was bragging about scoring 63, I said that hardly any points came because a play worked like it was supposed to. RTR❤

Yeah, it’s been very hit-or-miss. Explosives are great, but being able to consistently sustain drives as a way of offensive production is key, especially when you can maintain the explosives mixed in.

Y’all do great work fellas! Highly recommend watching Aaron Murray’s film breakdown because he shows the o-lines incorrect shift adjustments.

I’ll definitely have to do that! Thanks for the suggestion, and thanks for watching!

I stopped worrying about Parker Brailsford's size after watching him play Texas and Michigan in last season's playoffs. After hearing of his intentions to transfer to BAMA, I went back and watched him in those games. Texas had Huge D-lineman that are now in the NFL. He handled those guys. If he has the ability to block those guys I'm not worried about him. In BAMA's fall camp it was revealed that he is one of the top 5 strength guys in the weight room. He doesn't need 40 lbs of bad weight(fat) to be stronger. So many offensive lineman have quite a bit of bad weight, Parker doesn't. He may me our best lineman so far and that's saying a lot.

Not the turnovers but why hasn’t anyone mentioned wide open running lanes for the USF qb? It was like we were playing with 5 men on the field.

Now you watch USF play a D2 team next week and can't move the ball at all. Do you think they are doing offense that Milroe can execute? He missed some open receivers for first downs a few times. There was pressure but he had to step up and throw it, but instead he moves sideways and ends up having to run and throw it away.

*This season so far,as has been the case the last several seasons,we suffer from at least one guy getting beat Hat on Hat way too often. Immediate pressure in the 3 offensive attacks since 2020 where we hardly EVER move our QB's launch points. Bryce was NOT hard to find. Neither is Milroe. Hard to corral sometimes. But not hard to find. 2nd,of course,is our continued inability(for whatever reason) to not have "answers" to pressures. *Agree with TK. he started strong last season also before tailing off some. Hope he sustains. *PBrailsford is an elite guy in the middle.Quick,strong,physical,and SO versatile. *Germie is a terrific perimeter and active DF blocker also. *Roberts lacks athleticism and technique but not strength and want-to... *I really like Cuevas also... *Do NOT run Jet sweep from under center. Simple.It would have been blown up anyhow. Get in Gun and use the "touch pass"and/or 2-Hand give,and then run all the GREAT stuff off of it!! Like counter. Like trap. Like tight/wide/split zone. Tremendous stuff.Right up Milroe's alley. Or the RB. The great thing about Jet action is if you just show the motion the back 2 levels have to adjust.And obviously we have 2 dynamic "Sweepers" in Germie+KLaw. And some big-time weapons coming out the other end in the QB+RBs.Remember when that Sweeper arrives In the outer edges of C-Gap the ball has to be snapped. And also remember if you botch the "touch pass" it is NOT a fumble. *It wasnt the only thing but the fact that the game was so poorly officiated didnt much allow either team much chance to get into ANY kind of rhythm. YES poorly officiated. 20% of the plays resulted in Flags. I dont care what anyone says. Ticky-Tacked our poor RT a time or 2.(On a 76 yard run to the House was one-and he has enough issues on his plate)...Ticky-Tacked our LG also.And the grounding call on Jalen should be egregious to get that crew some time off. That and the targeting on JJ. Yet they let the DB's for SFLA just mug Williams down the field at least 3 times. SEC officiating crews stink so bad I can smell them clear up here in ohio. *I have BIG concerns about CNS. As far as KLAW? "Saving" his concepts,targets,and usage is ridiculous.Some guys can outrun "preparation". He is one of them in my mind. We have NOT,as far as offensively,figured out what we are all about,as far as WHO,WHAT,WHEN,WHERE,and HOW we are going to base our attack. *This is long I know but I am ONLY severely disappointed in 2 guys so far. So much so that I believe they should be on the "Quick hook " list. And that is Oatis,and especially Lawson. If you think you will win championships with those 2 guys and the way they play? You are fooling yourself.
@clintrlamb

I understand Oatis to an extent, but what’s the beef with Lawson?

@@clintrlamb To answer you ,and I believe you know ball,just watch DL in the 1st SFla series.12 plays and then a FG. It kind of encompasses how he plays. ALL the time. Ask yourself these things: *Is he active? *Is he aggressive? *Is he a physical tackler.? *Does he play with any REAL physicality.? *Will he agressively come forward and Stone Blockers? And then come off aggressively to make the tackle.? I would personally answer NO to all of those. And I believe exactly the way he plays is why downs was able to run alleys and lead the team in tackles last season as a predominantly 2-High safety. And I am not even going to start talking right now about how QRob+Koht play. My goodness. I could go on but I wont. Hell I am rooting for him. And It is NOT all his fault of course when a DT like Tim Smith gets washed down+.away by 2 downblocks and piles 2 gaps away and DL is on an A-Gap run blitz. The Wolf doesnt squeeze(partly because he has QB responsibility) and DL doesnt redirect at all and he joins the A-Gap pile. Our fat butts could have run through that hole.

Seriously Clint, did you even watch the game? Outz blocked terribly on runs and passing. Several plays he didn't touch a soul!
