Great discussion of price and volume, Mary. I saw the high volume breakdown in CAT when it happened, but i thought I would wait for a recovery day to go short--missed the boat!

At 16:10, why ignoring that huge volume bar? Or why that one is irrelevant?

I just read Anna Coulling's book and am trying to explain this. So the volume is indeed pretty high, but if you look at the candle spread - it's not wide at all. It's not in proportion to the huge volume, which is an anomaly as huge volume should lead to wide price spread. This usually means that the selling force is cushioned by the buying support.
