Thank you, Tom. Good point about sector rotation; small caps are tanking. The unemployment report will be released next Friday. The first five trading days of year 2025 will set the tone for the whole year.

Yes, small caps have been weak. I still believe they'll be strong, but the recent short-term breakdown will need to reverse before I'd grow more aggressive. Happy New Year!

The Santa rally happened for small-cap Scalp traders. There were several that roared up and made significant money for those who scalp trade. Friday (the 27th of December 2024) was a day which I met 3 times my daily earnings goal. Most of it was earned on MYSZ, which saw a rapid and significant climb in the Pre-Market session. Even Monday was ridiculously strong with TRAW making me 5 times my daily earning goal in the pre-session market. Those who are playing the market very long, will be disappointed when the general market takes a hard hit.

Watching the TNX closely. I see a longer-term range from 3.50%-5.00%. I'll be surprised if it moves above 5.00%, but I suppose it could happen. Happy New Year!

Why is Real Estate getting crushed? All of the reasons are in the real world. Interest rates for home loans are surprisingly going UP, instead of down. New housing starts are DOWN. Home sales closure rates are on a decline. Home loan defaults are on the RISE. Those who are looking at the most important metrics for housing have reason to be concerned.

Week to week is difficult to predict. I think that long-term uptrends remain intact, so I lean bullishly. But we can never rule out further weakness. Traders should be a bit concerned, looking for a reversal. From a long-term perspective, I'd stay the course. Happy New Year!

@@tombowley9894 end of the year there is typically a sell off as investors need to dump there holdings to take advantage for tax purposes, as you have seen over the last few days. and then january is not typically a good month. You rally into christmas and selloff right after, more times then not.
