You mean it's a complete fabrication. There is no way in hell Stockfish, the undisputed strongest chess engine, loses to an LLM which is nowhere close to being optimised for chess. Also, the analysis on the board gives it away. Stockfish might seem to make one or maybe two inaccuracies according to browser engines (cuz they are weaker than Stockfish running on decent hardware locally), but it absolutely does not make 4 or 5 of them.

Wow, nice little fabrication you've done here. News flash: if you wanted to not let it be blatantly obvious (if the strongest chess engine losing to an LLM unoptimised for chess didn't make it already), don't put the analysis up. Stockfish might make 1 or 2 slight inaccuries according to the browser engine (which is weaker), but it absolutely will not make 4 or 5 of them.

Thanks for your feedback! I understand your skepticism-this match was definitely surprising. The idea was to showcase how unique positions can sometimes lead to unexpected outcomes, even for top engines. As for the inaccuracies, they can happen depending on time controls, hardware differences, and specific engine settings. I appreciate your input, though, and will keep it in mind for future videos!

@@PawntToGrandmasterWhat unique positions? I assume the they are playing from the starting position. From the starting position, Stockfish will never play particularly unique moves because we have refined opening theory over hundreds of years and so we know very well which openings work best for either side. And Stockfish knows it too. Deviating from that just gives Stockfish the advantage. So Stockfish will not make dubious moves. And on the part of hardware, your browser analysis is of the level of an average smartphone of computing power. Are you trying to imply you deliberately gave it even worse hardware? Or extremely unfavorable time control? And moreover, do you actually think other people aren't aware of how weak LLM's are in chess? LLMs gives outputs by assimilating information from a lot of inputs. They literally try to come up with a move by trying to find similar looking position in a game. They have little capability of understanding chess. Look, just admit it. This entire video is a fabrication. Or if you're so adamant, please share this game with the Stockfish developers so that they can find how they missed an exploit where not even a chess engine was able to beat it from the starting position.
