To make things clear. During summer, a majority of Stockholm residents are taking vacation in their summer-cottages outside of Stockholm. That's why it might seem empty.

A lot of Swedes escape the major cities during the summer to live in their summer houses/cabinettes, so our bigger cities will be more empty than usual. Especially now because of the pandemic, even more people move out to their summer houses earlier than usual for more freedom.

It looks very empty in walkers compared to other cities I've visited in Europe, even my city Naples is too way bigger than Stockholm...seriously those Swedish walkers at night there are not even 1/4 of the walkers of movida in Madrid at 6.00 am. Lol I don't know if it is good or bad to live in a big city, Lagerst cities means more pollution, more traffic, more criminality, and many other problems but at same time means more opportunities in all fields, more parties, more events, more choice, more nightlife!

@@PedroSanchez-zv1lr I'm born and raised in the north of Sweden. I've lived in Stockholm for the last 6 years due to my work.. Tomorrow im moving back north. I can tell you that in Stockholm many people are "fake". Many people move to Stockholm to become something. Like an instagram celeb or climb the corporate ladder in some buisness. So they build up a facade of a person that they think will be accepted and popular instead of being themselves. Fake smiles and perfect lives.. People in the north is much different.. They are more genuine and honest.. Less stressed and don't care about status as much. Yes im making a generalization. There are ofcourse good, fun, open, honest and genuine people here. In my experience they are much harder to find in Stockholm.
