I went WAY overboard on my daughters. Looks like she's getting 3 haha. I always fill 1 and then Santa fills one. This year I got a lot of candy since shes 13 and little trinkets are harder to find. Also ended up with a ton of art stuff. Kneeded erasers, sketching stuff, watercolors ect. Expensive stuff but suitable stocking size makes me almost compelled to stick them in her stocking over making them her actual gifts lol. I lucked out and scored a Jeff Goldblum/Ian Malcom figure so had to buy that TODAY for 24th arrival. Living on the edge over here. She loves Jurassic Park and Malcom is her favorite. She's become a mug hoarder lately as well. We got her a little mini mug with a cat that looks like out kitten, Amber. has a little mini cat spoon. I went way overboard. Husband was SO hard. I ended up getting him a gallon of Franks Hot Sauce and $100 towards his black belt stuff since he's almost there. Men are so hard to shop for sometimes.

haha I love your commitment to the stockings mama! Sounds like wonderful fillers! You're right, many gifts this age make great stocking fillers. I know that some people choose to do stockings this way! To use them as a sort of big gift. i'm sure she'll love your choices, so thoughtful! Husbands are hard, but it sounds like you nailed it. I think it's always appreciated when we add to peoples interests and hobbies!

I know how you feel my son is now 15 🙈 I find his stocking is becoming more expensive every year. My 9 year old is still easy, I can easily go overboard with his. He also like among us and tech deck. 😂😂 xx

isn't it nuts? Before you know it, you can so easily spend 100 dollars on a stocking haha! at least the younger ones are more simple to shop for!

My daughters (3 of them) started a "Planner Girls Club." We sit on our front porch with our morning coffee and plan out our day together ❤ Its a girl thing!!

12 year old son is getting some gaming theme socks, an adapter for another present, so when he sees that it’s gonna be a fun little hint. A pop it thats shaped like a gaming controller (I chose a boy around his age to anonymously get gifts for and when he saw his pop it he really liked it so I got one for him too) my kids always get a new dvd in their stocking but this year he said he didn’t want one. He got a gift card to Barnes and noble (book store) and then treats. Pop rocks, a giant chocolate coin. Cute little Santa chocolates. Some “a Xmas story” themed hard candies. Some party poppers. A giant Rudolph chocolate lolli. Some cotton candy. A Santa pez. And a sugar cookie. My almost 8 yr old daughter is getting the same treats. She’s getting stick on earrings. A pop it. Sing DVD (her request) Barnes and Bible gift card as well. And I’m so totally done lol
