Girl, you look gorgeous in this video! Hope you had a date night afterwards! Santa brings a big gift for both of my kids that they’ve never heard of and some stuff I’d never buy them to keep the magic of Santa alive. My oldest is on to me, so I have to be on toes this year!

Santa only brings one gift at our house. This year he is bringing gear for our “rumpus”’room (gymnastic mats, climbing wall holds and wall mirrors). I like not making him the focus, too. Stockings are generally simple, some candy, new hair ties and clips (my son is in heaven so I only have girls earthside), Plus Plus tubes and fuzzy socks or something like that (this year we are doing ear warmers).

My daughter is in Heaven since 2007 aged 12 years. My son is now 32 and my granddaughter is 11 years old and I have a new one on the way.

Believe it or not, i got my 1 year old those shakers last year for Christmas & it’s STILL a favorite, every day used toy!

Santa brings our kids the stockings and a gift or two under the tree (could be a shared gift or not) but it has to be a practical gift that he "can make" at his shop and the rest come from mommy and daddy. They always get an orange in the stocking because I always had one in mine when I was younger. It's more nostalgic for me. And Santa wraps our living room archway with Santa wrapping paper (let me clarify, wraps the width of the archway). This way all 3 of my kids get the same opportunity of walking in to see the tree at the same time. I have all boys 8, 6 and almost 2 who love running through it and ripping it down 😂. This was something I had started when I had kids and it's such a magical fun memory that I now do everything year. I love the date with a parent as that is a great idea! I may have to incorporate that because we never go out and if so it may be something like you said once every few months if that.

We always did food gift cards when my kids were younger in their stockings. Usually to fast food like taco bell or McDonald's. I love your idea to have date night and experience with you, lasting memories

In our family, one big gift and the stocking comes from Santa. I love stockings though -- they were my favorite growing up so I like to go all out. They are definitely a budget item -- we budget for.

We do Christmas Eve boxes. They get a food gift cards for and some snacks. We do 3 gifts and the stocking from Santa, and everything else is from family on Christmas. As far as candy in their stockings, my kids get Kinder Joy eggs and a Pez dispenser. We don't have a limit for stocking stuffers, but it is usually around $100. Games are a great idea for stockings.

Five Crowns is a family staple for us! My son is now 27 and we've been playing it since he was 7 and we pull it out at Christmas. So fun. Hope you all enjoy it as much as we have.

I always give one gift from Santa and the rest are from us 🥰 What I do now is a stocking for my son & husband - because growing up we only got oranges in ours (7 kids) 😂 Now it's one of my favorite things to do! I love thinking of all their favorite things to fill it with! I also do a "simple" stocking for everyone coming over for Christmas, little snacks and candy for everyone 🥰

I grew up with chocolate oranges and I loved them.. tried them with my family last year and everyone hated them 😂

I want to try a chocolate orange for the first time this Christmas. I am not a fan of chocolate covered cherries, but I don't judge until I try something. My family hates them, too.

We do a big gift from Santa. The stocking and other gifts are from us. They get to open their stocking and Santa gift while we attempt to keep sleeping in the morning 😅 5 Crowns and Qwix are super fun games!

I bought both card games for my 9 year old grandson for his stocking. My almost 12 year old grandaughter also received makeup for her stocking. Can you let us know how the magnetic tracks worked out as well as the link to them? Some do not work well. Im looking for Easter.

My 3 year old loves the magnetic tracks. I feel like they are more of a younger kids toy.
