Stocking suggestion - Instead of writing names on each gift, put each child's gifts in a paper lunch bag. Just have to write the name one time for each bag; then transfer the bag of gifts to their stocking Christmas night, quick & already sorted. Lunch bags can get reused later. I always wrapped the stocking items, adds to the magic & excitement. I also had special wrapping paper for "the Santa Gifts", not left out where they could see it. Different from the paper used to wrap gifts for family/friends, kids notice the small stuff. Those gifts weren't put under the tree till they were asleep.

Chatting with your Girls about life lessons...They will take that lesson with them always. Teachable moments for sure.

Truer words were never spoken. The best example of that lesson is from 21 years ago on September 11, 2011. A cousin of a man I used to work with did not go into work on time that Tuesday morning because he stayed up too late the night before watching the Monday night football game. His lateness to work at the twin towers saved his life. God had mercy on him that day, for sure.

I am enjoying your Christmas vlogs. I wrap my son’s stocking stuffers also. What I do is save the used tissues from the gifts the year before and wrap his items with those. I figure since they are in his stocking they don’t have to look pretty. He is 13 years old and his stocking is still his favorite part of Christmas morning.

Husband's stockings are so hard to put together! You are like me, give him snacks and some grooming products. I love the baking mix idea for the kids stockings. You did well on the stockings! Hillary, wrapping the stocking stuffers to extend the excitement for the kiddos I thought was a great idea! I smiled when Finn sneezed and you stopped and said "bless you" such a sweet moment in my opinion. You can never go wrong pointing your children to the Lord and how He works in their everyday life. I wrapped my kids stocking stuffers when they were little, now I wrap my kids and grandkids stocking stuffers 😊. And I wrapped m mom and dads when they were alive. I often had between 18 and 22 stockings all to wrap and I often bought too much so had to place a couple on the outside of the stocking. Crazy. I’m trying to get better and cut back a little. I also had many gifts per adult and child to wrap. I always watch a Christmas movie or Christmas you tube while wrapping, makes it more fun. I love the idea of putting a cake or cookie mix in so now I’m going to too.

I always wrap the stocking stuffers! My husband's family didn't grow up with wrapped stocking stuffers and they were allowed to go through them as soon as they woke up in the morning. But when I was growing up it was a big production. They were all wrapped and we all opened them together and then we would break for cinnamon rolls and then come back to do the other presents. That's how I like to do it. This year my oldest son and daughter-in-law and grandson are joining us Christmas morning so I have 11 stockings to stuff this year! For several years now the kids have actually helped wrap each other's because it's too much for just me and they love that! ( If similar aged kids are getting similar things I hold them back and do those myself but most things are different.) Stockings are one of my favorite parts of Christmas.

I have the same problem with my mascara smudging! The top lashes smudge just below my eye and it’s a mess. I have found if I just coat the tips it’s helps. It must smudge from the mascara at the bottom of my lashes.

To me what you said is an odd way of thinking... thankfully we're not in the accident but nothing about the poor people that were that's a bit selfish.

This happened a year or two ago as well with her...the same type of situation...she shared on her YT channel too; and she did say then, how she hoped the people in the accident were okay... Hillary is not selfish. She makes meals for people in her church, she cleans her parent's house, etc. I am sure that she is hoping that the people involved are fine, even if she didn't mention it.
