It took me four years to discover that forecasting the market based on charts is pointless; you never know what will happen. I have a little over 250k i wanted to put in the markets but I don’t know what direction to head now. Any guidance in this regard would be much valued.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. Hard to sell Calls against your stock, high enough, when you are constantly getting 2,3,5,8 Sigma/ month moves to the upside. And, I think we blew by (year end projections) back in April 😂 Now, selling Puts at the money or even slightly in the money, has been an absolute money printer this year! I wish I could say I was doing the latter, I was not! The SPY portfolios “hedge fund” got smoked this year, trying to find a strike price high enough to not get (called away) proved to be nearly impossible!
