Wouldn't it just be easier to just say that the market is going to go up indefinitely? It's a never-ending positive feedback loop. If the market has potentially bad news, that means the Fed would cut rates, so the market will go up and up relentlessly. There is no reason or discipline in this market because of the fact that all selling outcomes have been canceled.

Absolute beast week, hyperbeta, aka Mag7 stocks, mooning on SOFR price action. I think Powell gave up on trying to find a neutral rate; nevertheless, TSYs are pricing a higher neutral rate stance. Mixed market straight up risk-on on the worst geopolitical scenario possible. Markets are pricing vol while positioning for higher prices in equities, which means there's uncertainty despite certainty in the SOFR/OIS swaps market. I think it's quite clear that the dollar's strength will have an effect on rates next year, as it has an effect on the economy like it did years ago. The tariffs wave next year will have an inflationary effect, which markets seem to be pricing through the TSY market instead of the SOFR/OIS swaps market. Thank God I closed my $TSLA short in April. 😂
