Yeah trucks and cars wont listen to the signs here and keep taking a right turn they can't make and is a illegal right turn. The bollard was first hit a day after being installed and a few more times after that.

Is the way that truck is turning at 2:30 the intended route right turning traffic is supposed to take? What is the signage like for that routing?

Yes. There are signs on 34th St approaching this intersection that say to take R St as the right turn to Stockton Blvd and then there are signs at the crossing saying no right turn from 34th to Stockton. Back in early 2024, they converted R St right there from a two way to a one way so that trucks can turn there but at the same time didn't widen it for trucks. At 3:00, another truck used that path and could barely fit as many also due to the damaged curb. The City of Sacramento and SACRT both like to take the cheap alternative with everything and then wonder why it doesn't work out as intended.

Okay! Looks like they finally decided to do something about the intersection! Though, it looks kinda small there, and I feel like a truck could easily destroy that and still hit the cantilever, if the truck is big enough. Yeah, they should have fixed the turn at R Street to make it wider... there is enough room there, and the sidewalk could be widened or moved back also. I am disappointed though, as this means that SACRT will never ever change the bell sequence back or replace the US&S E-Bell...

I'll be 😂😂😂 if those protections fail. Maybe they need to bring back the incandescent traffic signal light. That will solve the problem with all of those LED lights.

The last time the temporary traffic light was here, it had its incandescents replaced.
