The fact that this man, is the one who gave us what hurts the most, is in all fact a miracle in itself, one of the most beautiful, heart wrenching songs that most people know of, it does hit me harder each and every day, that the people in our lives that die, we do not know if we will ever see them again, and that all we can do is hope and pray, that there is a god who sees through our mistakes who sees through our mistakes, who sees our flaws, and that will allow us to all to come together again, much love.
@tambourine36
@tambourine36 3 ай бұрын
You can be assured that He will come through for us. This sad state of affairs is never what he intended. And he will make it right in his own time. That was his original purpose and he cannot lie so all his promises come true. He never meant for any of us to die. And plans on bringing them all back to a different world where there will be no more suffering or death or pain. He is the embodiment of love and even watched his own son die on earth here and be disrespected but they both loved humans so much that they were willing to make that sacrifice to right the wrong that Adam committed in Eden and thus we had to live in imperfection ever since because of his greed in thinking he didn't need God. Well did we ever do a good job independently from God didn't we? Well God needed time for humans to prove they can't rule themselves. Only God can clean this up now. Even the Devil was once an angel and thought so much of himself that he turned against God and took 1/3 of the angels down with him. God promises he will do away with him forever so he can't hurt people any longer. He is out to devour families and take advantage of people who are vulnerable. I truly believe he is behind all the poisoned drugs that are killing people on the streets. This is not real life. That's coming and it won't be late. The bible is not just another old unrelateable story. Every prophecy has come true so far and the rest of them will too including his grand original purpose for humans to live on a peaceful earth with plenty to eat and a nice home to live in with no stress or heartbreak. Let that sink in. 🫂🙏🤸🌻🌈🌈🐒🐾🍉🍞🏫🏠💌

Yeah the Rascal Flatts version sucks compared to Jeff and Aaron's. Playing guitar for fun is great. Music means different things to different people and if you get enjoyment out of it for yourself then it has done its job! Have a blast!

One of the best songs ever. Few songs have so much connection to everyone that hears it. We have all been there.

i know i speak 4 many when saying we wish JS's family well today, the anniversary of his son's passing; our thoughts r w/them & so many others who have also lost their sons over the past few years in tragic circumstances; this Fest in remembrance of one such son is a wonderful way to help every1 who needs 2 heal from such a loss...2 remember & cherish memories & celebrate lives which were brief, but memorable.

I really don't care who sings it, the song is amazing. Jeffrey, Aaron, and RF all killed it. I love this version the best but we'd have never heard it without living in Nashville or The Flatts guys.

Too many reasons as to why this song destroys me and fixes me each time I hear it! Rock and metal gets me every time and nothing is better than the original! JS should have gotten more traction and not just been pushed to the side to write music for others, but at least he is still a part of the industry he loves! Good luck to JS AND ALL OF YOU with whatever brought you here in the first place and may keep bringing you here with whatever life throws at you! ♥! Keep rocking! Rest and Rock in Paradise if there is such a place Alex, I stopped believing in it when I was 5, but if there is, hope you got there! \m/!

Two things, 1. A lot of people seem confused on who sang it first, this guy wrote the song, the song was pitched to rascal flatts in 2005 and they recorded it for their 4th album, the writer Jeffery steele has written a few of RF’s songs in the past, later on Aaron Lewis covered it....2nd why is everyone hating on RF and praising Aaron Lewis, Aaron’s version isn’t original at all, it sounds like the original, at least RF put a twist on it, its in a higher key, beautiful harmony vocals and a soaring guitar solo.

Shae Barger ... I'm with you, I don't know why the hell people jump all over RF for a damn good business decision to record this song. All the versions kick ass, I think its stupid no one can appreciate great art no matter who does it without stupid asinine comments. Breathe deeply and enjoy.

I don't like or hate the RF's for recording it. The truth is I heard Aaron Lewis's version 1st then RF's version. For me I just like the way Aaron Lewis's acoustic version better, but this one is a really close 2nd. Mr. Steele has way more passion when he sing HIS song though. I'm surprised he didn't start crying cuz it looked like he was really close to doing so.

The guitar makes this version everything. Probably still could have been a hit released by Aaron or himself. But it wouldn't have been the commercial success it was with RF. He's probably still banking from this song all these years later lol
