This video was very informative. I had purchased a fake pair of Air Max 97’s and I didn’t know how to go about telling GOAT that I’d received a fake pair. That’s cool that they’ve hashed things out. Its a hit or miss with stockx from my experiences. I always keep my interactions professional. That’s always a good tip to have. On the sellers side of stockx, they’ve rejected my transactions in the past. I know I’m buying from the source. It really sucks because they charge you a fee. Someone said 2 blow them up on Twitter and i did and that's the only way i got a response. Then they told me 2 send them pictures (which I did already) in specific ways. I was scammed bad by Stockx for the 700 Wave Runners. I bought them in February 2021. When they arrived, I cut the tag and put them in my back in the box to wear the next day. I never wound up wearing them though. Last month, I tried to sell them back to Stockx because the price is high now, and they're going to re-release in August. They failed verification for being fake. Then they sent the fakes back to me and charged me $15. I am still livid. I'm not an authenticator. When I removed the Stockx tag, I placed my trust in them. How am I, a casual customer supposed to know they were fake? Email after email after email, customer service Tweets, Tweets to the Stockx founder, a certified letter to their corporate office... All I get are the same pre-written replies that tell me they basically don't care.

Although I have to say it’s a bad look on StockX’s part, in 3 different ways. #1 is obvious: StockX let a fake slip through the cracks in the first place. #2: StockX’s willingness to even consider & giving a refund to a person in entertainment/media. When the average person gets shut down immediately with no thought/consideration. #3: The fact StockX thought giving this refund would be good publicity, when in reality it showed StockX has different policies for different customers

I actually found a really beat pair or Mars Yard 2.0's at the swap meet and automatically thought that they had to be fakes (of course coming from the swap meet right? ) but they looked pretty legit to me... However I did a little research, including your video on the fake pair you unknowingly purchased..and I decided to take a chance on this pair from the swap meet...I will be cross checking them with other sources to see if these are fake or not. First time subscriber and from what l see you are doing your thing ,l buy my Yeezys from StockX got me alittle worried 😟 l bought like 5-6 pairs ,Wave Runners 2 different pairs and yeezys beluga and breeds, l hope they didn't get me and that's just my Yeezys ,bought alot of Jordan 1,s and Others as well ,thank you for heads up time to get all my shoes from StockX checked by Someone else, Thank you 😊

Yeah I still shop on StockX and Goat, overall they are good platforms but it is possible that they can make a mistake every once in awhile. Thats why I suggest checking your shoes as soon as they arrive. Possibly even document the unboxing in case there are any issues. It sucks that people are out there trying to take advantage and scam others with fake sneakers, just gotta do your best to know what to look for.

Stockx should have not just refunded him but they should have purchased the sneakers for the current price seeing as how you would have purchased an authentic pair for the original price you paid 2 years back....if that makes sense

So basically cry about something and have followers and stock x will gift you sneakers. The fummy thing is that you rocked these for years with no concerns.in your mind you had the sneakers you wanted. You got what you paid for in terms of how it made you feel. I doubt anybody questioned them when you rocked them.it only became a concern when you wanted to make a profit from them.

I had all the evidence to back up my story and that played a huge factor I am sure. Whether or not I have a social media platform I believe that I could have gotten my refund because I was able to prove everything.

Super glad to hear you were able to get ur money back. But I got a clear fake and never wore them but they still refuse to take it back. I think the only reason you got a refund is bc of ur platform
