Banned me as well after getting the Nike dunk low Oregon PE What the Duck Away in my size I went for the Home pair to complete the pack on StockX only because they were $50 cheaper even though I had stopped buying from them for C/S reasons, but then gave the seller an extra 3 days to ship without any notice well after the drop and then when seller still didn't ship they started acting super suspect by blowing me off asking if he could further help me while in the middle of asking for a price match or refund the day a refund was promised because the limited numbers where getting thin and higher priced in my size on GOAT and Ebay, so I did a chargeback and told them I would and immediately got refunded!

lol must not be a lot. I buy and resell used shoes from eBay. I will literally resell shoe with eBay tag attached they will fail the shoe when it goes back through. They sold me fakes multiple times. It’s not eBay it’s garbage Sneakercon. Just recently sold me fake Levi 4s the blue ones. I called eBay immediately upon opening package. They normally will refund me for sale if it fails when I resell a shoe I bought from them but when I explained them the shoe was fake. I used check check/poizon and my own sneaker knowledge they told me to resell the shoe again then they would refund me if it failed again which it did and I do think that is scummy but I did. Ending up making a $200 profit.

Yeah, ebay, goat, flight club have all been selling sneakers longer than stockx, yet stockx is the only one freqently in the news for selling fakes. Ive used all the platforms, and only stockx was the one that sold me fakes before. I stopped using them a couple years back and obviously isnt a isolated incident otherwise Nike would be coming after the other platforms as well.

They know there might have been disgruntled employees who might have passed fakes to hurt the company. They are admitting that the pass rate is not 100%. They did admit the false advertising about a year ago by changing the authentic guarantee slogan. I’ve sold about 100 pairs on there and all passed. But I’ve bought about 40 pairs. A few times they emailed me saying seller paid I bought did not pass but they found ones from another seller that did pass.

This is silly. Pretending that Stockx is any different or worse than ebay, Goat, WhatNot, Poizon or reseller stores. All sneakers are authenticated by HUMANS... humans make errors. Reps are insanely hard to identify. Reps are getting through on ALLLL platforms. Only difference is Stockx is the largest and on Nike's crosshairs. So they get most publicity and are covering their bases. All other resale groups will need to do the same soon

What are you paying them for? The fee they charge is a verification fee not an authenticity fee. Nowhere in their site for the last couple years does it say anything about being authentic. It even explains StockX verified means checking quality, new condition and product description. Nowhere do they say they check authenticity. KZbinrs did videos on this over two years ago yet you guys don’t pay attention on the site to what you’re being charged for. They covered themselves from litigation because they don’t guarantee authenticity but you guys are all acting surprised now 🤦🏻‍♂️

I recently bought a pair of the black a ma maniere 3s from SNKRS. I liked them so much I, decided to double up so I bought another pair from StockX. When I compared them I realized the pair from StockX was fake - but they did a pretty good job!. If I didn’t have the pair from Nike to compare to, I would have never been able to tell they were fake I notified StockX and shipped them back and they gave me a full refund, no hassle But my point is fakes today seem legit, unless you have an original to compare to you may not be able to tell you have fakes.

I honestly don't trust any of the resale platforms 100%. I do prefer GOAT to StockX but that largely comes down to the UI of the app and GOAT's pricing is typically better than StockX's. As u and other commenters said, the authentication is done by humans and people make mistakes. No big deal there, but if they ever know a shoe has failed authentication and they allow it to sale anyway, that's messed up. 2 things that I find to be problematic with buying resell is A) if I am paying close to retail or above retail, the shoe I'm getting better be legit/authentic. B) it is incredibly hard for us as consumers to double check our purchases for authenticity as depending on the communities we live within we can't really compare and contrast pairs with peers using any high level of scrutiny. As such we can't truly police the process any better than the platforms IMO.

StockX didn't admit to knowingly selling fakes. Nike, said StockX admitted it. There's a difference. StockX released a statement basically saying only a very small percentage (less than 1%) of fakes make it through their verification process. Literally, nothing has changed from when Nike filed the lawsuit with their initial claims that StockX sells fakes. I think it's important to note the distinction

I think it was done intentionally because StockX has always been fake out of 200+ pairs I have two pairs from StockX and that is a JPSB Chicago because they never restocked here and I bought a pair of Jordan one midnight navy real early way under retail. No, because StockX charges a verification fee not authenticity fee. They verify new condition, product description and quality assurance. Nowhere on their site do they state anything about 100% authenticity. Whereas goat and eBay clearly state they check for authenticity. StockX changed this two years ago and KZbinrs did videos on it yet you all continued to buy from them.

I’ve only have 4 pairs from stock x 3 350s and one Jordan 1 yellow toe. Even though mine thankfully aren’t fake I was worried about the yellow toe.

I get my shoes from ebay and then go to the nike/asics/adidas/nb store/outlet in the city and get them double checked. I mean I get usually 2-3 shoes per year at max. So it's not such a huge deal for me I guess.

I always had a feeling my pattern leather bred 1s might’ve been fake every since Nike first sued them a couple years back I just keep them because Check Check said they psssed the legit test who know they might be lying to but I feel like they fake because how they feel on feet I worn them a few time and they still feel stiff not broken in yet just feel funny on my foot

I’ve only ordered from them twice.I got the playoff 8s and the gratitudes.my only issue was it took wayyy to long to get my shoes.I got an “overseas” pair and I actually copped a pair of 11s from snipes and not only was the sole a different color,the shoe shape was different too the sizing on the overseas pair seemed a lil short and it seemed more round than my snipes pair.I just said f it if I need to get anything I’ll cop for retail or go to goat.

fake sneakers ahould exist all not in this age of tech all they have to do is watermark or barcode the shoes while they are in production its as if nike is playing both sides
