Sniping was beautiful in this game for sure. The sounds of the gun going off, the echo, the bullet speed and drop, the reloading… absolutely blissful to fire off those rifles. My only negative is that there was no Springfield 1909 rifle.

Beyond just sniping, I think the shooting mechanics as a whole have never been better than BFV. I really hope that down the line we see BFV absorbed fully by Portal with a revamped unlock/progression.

I'm happy i could enjoy the Martini- Henry times in Bf1. The sound, the reload animation all was perfect. I give a sh.t about people who sayed "i'ts op". This gun, with all aspects, give me the best feeling i've ever had with a gun in any shootergame. It was just epic!

my main problem in bf games is you brother. i think you would like 12x scope on a mg... so you can be out of the map, have 3 kills, and 2 is me ofc.

I don't know. Battlefield players tend to not adapt to the situation. They pick a class and run with it no matter what. When you have an annoying plane user, just use a Fliegerfaust. But what are all the assaults running? Bazooka xD

Battlefield V and 2042 Sniping is not the same than on COD, on Battlefield you need to give a headshot even at close range for kill somebody, on COD you can kill with one shoot on the chest, do not need so much skill for snipe in COD. Also on Battlefield the bullet travel speed are slow in comparison to COD, so you have to calculate the bullet drop...summarizing, don't worry BF 2042 it will not be like COD MW.

I'm so confused by the mentality that controller can't have a bunch of input options for stuff like leaning Like, I remember first seeing that, and then just looking at the old assassins creed games where you had two different sets of actions, High and low alert, where pressing R2 would access a completely separate set of inputs on your four interaction buttons. And Siege already does the whole Lean while ADS because melee and sprint while ADS are free now. Overlapping bindings is 100% viable

BF5 is my favorite battlefield for sure. enjoyed it from day one even tho it was not perfect i just love that timeperiods weapons and vehicles and i was so sceptical about2042 but still bought it because i have played this series since BF1942 and even tho BF1 and BF5 was my favorites i hoped that 2042 would be atleast fun but my god ive been so dissapointed.. i even quit 2042 after 4 hours and felt like i never wanted to play it again to be honest.. i took a 2 day break and then played over the weekend for like 10hours and i really dont like 2042 im afraid and the new specialists or hero classes are shit and wish they would only be in hazardzone.. Today i jumped into BF5 just to see i was not crazy thinking that 2042 is so boring but i was correct.. had more fun in a random bf5 conquest then ive had in any of my 2042 games so far..

@@jimboc669 honestly I took a break from it and eventually came back to it and I’m coming back again. I definitely agree things in the beginning we’re super rough and it was a lesson well learned for dice. But I honestly believe in the end the game is pretty good. It’s sad that the endgame feels to be peak experience. But honestly regardless of whether we liked it or not it’s kinda unfortunate to see it go. I’ll eventually come back to it in the future, I did with BF4 years later

I got pretty nasty at PC BFV sniping too def the best sniping in any MP FPS I’ve played. My stats with the Springfield are better than Shrouds. Really hope BF2042 sniping is the same. Just needs slower ADS time to account for the bigger rifles.

if snipers did 80-90 dmg tp the chest i would agree with you. but with 55dmg the enemy will just tap the self heal button and regain enough health to not die from my second shot. 3 shot chest shot kills are not OK. and i believe its the same in 2042? with the armor mechanic and all?
