When using heavy rounds, this gun has 4-shot kill in any distance. Subsonic rounds have 4 shot kill for 75m or less. Both rounds are better than the standard mag. Standard round is 50m or less for 4 shots, above that range is 5

The high power rounds are also better on this gun then any other. They are a 2 shot headshot, 4 shot body shot, at all ranges. No other high power round for ARs does this.

@@An_Dulachan I always run extended. For those longer ranges you need the velocity. I even use it with a 6x, just shoot slower and you'll hit more shots.

AC42 is so good on single fire. But good with burst too at closer range.. The thing is AK24 and Sfar are both also good with Single fire. The AK more though because harder hitting.. The key is that the recoil is minimal on single fire but you can still spam the trigger as fast as you can. But that's how you use these guns at range. Only go full auto when tight quarters.

I stay using the DM7 with long barrel 20rd mag bipod and that 4x/1x red dot sight combo and it's amazing. With any assault rifle I make it semi auto cause the recoil in full auto is so stupid. That's why I like the DM7 cause it's an assault rifle but semi auto and more powerful

Heavy suppressor actually works pretty well on this gun, even in single fire. Plus it keeps you off the mini map no matter how close you are to enemies 😉.

@@ironie5319 Well the regular suppressor and the wrapped one only keep you off the mini map beyond a certain distance away from enemies. The "heavy suppressor" keeps you off the mini map entirely, no matter the distance, although the damage is reduced, but with weapons with a fast rate of fire such as the AC-42 the reduced damage doesn't matter so much.

The scars grenade launcher is a gem you've kinda missed, it's Armour piercing grenades are really good, you covered the normal rounds but the AP is pretty nuts. Like, in the space of time it'd take you to fire two Smaws at a tank, you could basically unload all 3 AP rounds and take the tank to half health or more. Then pull your smaw out and blast it. You might need a second missile, depends where on the tank you land the shot.

Scar single fire is also a beamer. With the drum mag you can ballet snipers so far. I usually use the scope with the reddot on top to switch if enemy comes close. You also need to use a long shot barrel on that bish

Single fire with HP rounds is the best. I use it the same way but switch to burst when closer ranges and the gun can go from long range to short range for pushes in seconds. It's fantastic!

Shit, I've been using this off and on depending on the situation for weeks, lol. It's the best DMR in the game in semi-auto mode and as long as you can hit your shots, the burst mode wins in the 1v1 against most other weapons aside from the K30 and shotguns (maybe the MP9 as well).

@@Longngao Welp, my joke didn't stick, shame. You said tripod, bipods are in the game, not tripods. I was poking fun at that. The C100 bit was a reference to Colonel 100 from Battlefield friends, who unlocked a bipod for his knife. Btw if you're tryna level, you should try to get every available ribbon per match that you can. Intel can be done fast by using caspers drone to spot a bunch of enemies or EMP tanks, hop on a few objectives for those ribbons, kill some people for combat ribbons and then equip Angel and just run around throwing armour packs at people and reviving for the supply ribbon Each ribbon adds score to the "Round actions" tab at the end of a match and it's worth like 5000 extra points if you get all or nearly all of them, and then winning is your other big one for another stack of points. If you can land both of those things you'll net like 22000 points a round, would take you 2 matches per level give or take.

Can't say I've ever used the gun like this before (I play on PS5 and probably don't have the trigger finger), but I do occasionally set it to single-shot for long-range and it's awesome. Hopefully DICE won't nerf it into the ground, just a ROF limit for single-shot mode should work.

I kinda find the zoom aim snap sensitivity thingy is a bit much at 100 too but turning it off just feels like there’s literally zero help latching onto targets. and it’s not like I want it so intense that it plays like COD but it’s been pretty frustrating. besides the lag and hit reg issues and everything else. hoping it gets patched

@@chadgrov there are a lot of other settings I've changed. Some of the defaults seem awful. My FOV is 90 (helps me with visual recoil), uniform soldier aiming on, ads field of view on, vibration off, crosshair projection off, motion blur off, aim acceleration off.

Hazardzone is a great competitive concept. I wish more played it, I just don't have time to wait to get a lobby. Yes this gun has been op all along. Try AK on semi-mode and 6x, it's a sniper. Less drop off then the anti vehicle gun.

so i play on a last-gen console right. the game isn't too broken. however. on last-gen you can't actually play 128-player matches. you're capped at 64. on maps designed for 128. so it's impossible to find people to kill, making levelling up slow.

Press down on the d-pad that is shaped like a cross while zoomed, it is called "cycle fire-mode." I play BF1 so haven't tried 2042 yet but it is same button layout for 2042.
