Check out the Stoeger M3000. Great entry level tactical or competition shotgun.

I love mine. Added a NC +9 tube, Hi-Viz site but used a TTI safety, bolt release and lifter and an MOA Precision bolt handle. I'm using the NC low drag follower and barrel clamp but am thinking I might ditch the clamp as it seems to pull the tube up a little towards the muzzle.

Hard decision to make between the Stoeger and the Mossberg 930 JM Pro... I like the fact that it does have the inertia system~

I have a that Mossberg, I'll turn it into a dove or turkey gun, but never again a competition gun.

Nice video. Very helpful. The only question that I have would be, why is my corvette in your garage?
@CJRKENT76976 жыл бұрын
Thanks for a good simple video. I am thinking about 3 gun and have the M3000, added a tube and getting the larger charging handle and sending it our to open the loading port. That choke is that a Modified and can you use it for all your needs for 3 gun

Did you need to change out your extractor on that model. TIA.

For us Canadians up north with our loading capacity limits, what is your opinion on the using the M3500 for a 3 gun platform, with 3 1/2 chamber we can load 7- 2 3/4 shells in the tube
@JesseTischauser9 жыл бұрын
Francois Willamson I haven't run one. My expectation would be that it would require hotter ammo.

What shell holder where you wearing to demonstrate your loading while inside your garage. 4x3 configuration

Hey Jesse, sorry for commenting on an older video like this. Hopefully you still check the comments. I just picked up a m3000 myself. 2 questions- what shells would you recommend to knock out the break-in period? and what shells did you use in competitions? I'm a new shooter, so just trying to avoid stuff too light for the m3000. Thanks buddy! your videos are awesome!!

I've never broke in a shotgun with super hot Ammo. Always seemed like a waste of money and time to me. I would rather shoot a few hundred 1 1/8 oz 7.5 shot practicing then a box of super hot 6 shot making my shoulder sore. I always run top of the line Ammo in my shotguns because all cheap ammo eventually has a bad round in my experience. But as a beginner a malfunction every couple hundred rounds may not be as big of a problem but saving $ on ammo maybe real important. So if you must run cheap stuff try the federal Walmart bulk pack ammo or Remington gun club shells. 1 1/8 oz, 7, 7.5, or 8 shot running at least 1200 fps should work.

Hi Jessie, sorry for the basic question but would you explain exactly how did you polish the recoil spring. Thanks
@JesseTischauser8 жыл бұрын
Wrap sand paper around the OEM mag tube and pull it back and forth. Start with 200 or 400 and work your way to 1200 or how every smooth you feel like going

Goot shut..very nice video review.the m 3000 its made in turkey by beretta my frend?
@JesseTischauser6 жыл бұрын
jamd beretta is the parent company of both Benelli and Stoeger and few others if I’m not mistaken.
@jamd56056 жыл бұрын
i am from greece.yes i know .its the parent's company.but is your gun made in italy or made in turkey, jesse? If it is made in turkey do you trust it? Thank you ! By the way you are very fast in shuting
@JesseTischauser6 жыл бұрын
jamd yes the Stoeger’s are made in Turkey. The M3000 or M3k is a great starter gun but if you want better go with a Franchi Affinity or if you want the best get a Benelli M2.
@Shtang3r6 жыл бұрын
Why in your opinion Franchi is better than Stoeger? I'm thinking about buying some middle price semi-automatic shotgun, so I want to collect different opinions about Stoeger 3k and Affinity, since I'm hesitating between those two.
@JesseTischauser6 жыл бұрын
Shtang3r the fit and finish of the Franchi is worth the extra $150-200 imho over the Stoeger.

Great video. What size cheekeez didn't you use?
@JesseTischauser8 жыл бұрын
I ran the gun with the Middle size most but I bought all three and had them on different guns. it didn't really matter what size.
@tonymontoya25598 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I'm trying to decide on which size to order. I'll order different sizes and see what works best. Thanks again for the tips.

So M2 chokes fit the Stoeger M3000
@JesseTischauser8 жыл бұрын
Yes they fit but they are longer so they stick out of the end of the barrel farther.
