Benelli owns Stoeger.. That gap in your clamp is so your barrel free floats and doesn't throw off your poi with slugs, but it will still reinforce the magazine tube if it flexes too much.

Change out the trigger spring. Made a bit of a difference in mine. The extractor replacement was a good Idea, especially at the cost. Overall a great shooter. I'm getting the M3020 Defense next.

Sometimes extraction issues comes to certain brass, compare the edges on the brass to others and you’ll see some have a nice edge and some have less of an edge. Nice video, I went with the same shotgun still waiting on it and ordered extension tube as well.

Just came from a local gun store to check out a Mossberg JM Pro. Wasn't too impressed with the fit and its overall low quality. That shotgun had plenty of wobble in the forearm. Salesman pulled a Stoeger M3K. Fit and finish on the M3K is so much nicer, the barrel is chrome lined. Price was also lower on the M3K. I will next look for a Franchi Affinity 3. Nowadays there are so many good quality affordable entry level semi-auto shotgun.

Perfect timing on the vid, looking at getting basically the exact same setup myself. The way they set up the loading port, lifter, & forearm is pretty incredible considering the price, and the fact that shotguns that cost 2-3x more (FN SLP Comp, Rem Versa Max Comp, Beretta 1301 Comp, etc.) are considerably lacking in that department.
@mitchellmcvey33464 жыл бұрын
I run a Stoeger M3K and a FN SLP Comp in 3 gun as well as skeet. I will honestly say, I wish I would have bought the Stoeger prior to purchasing the FN. The M3K will outperform the FN any day of the week. I have invested a little over $1k in upgrades/modification to the FN totaling close to $2,300 -$2,400. With all of the additional mods, the Stoeger with less than $850.00 will win every time. So words of wisdom, save your time and money and buy the Stoeger.

@theuncouthtruth95515 жыл бұрын
Brocked and Loaded the M3K. It has the most done. All you really need is a +6 mag tube or bigger from MOA precision. And though it already has a open loading port, you may wanna send it in to MOA to have them make it bigger but other then that it pretty much GTG
@brockedandloaded60345 жыл бұрын
@@theuncouthtruth9551 thank you! What barrel length do you recommend?
@theuncouthtruth95515 жыл бұрын
The barrel comes standard at 24” as does most. The +6 mag tube will extend just past the barrel. It also comes with 3 chokes for different groups including slugs. Also, this thing is VERY accurate with slugs. 👌🏻having had this gun for almost 9 months now, I can say without a doubt this thing is a machine and superior to the JM Pro. Just get a mag tube and benelli extractor right off the bat, and after you have had it for a while, you may wanna consider having MOA open the loading port. But I would use it first to see if it’s necessary

@theuncouthtruth95514 жыл бұрын
Mine is a plus 6. It extends approximately an inch past the barrel. Not very far at all. If you’re set on having it flush, +5 will be closer but I’m not sure if it will be flush or shorter as I don’t own one. Hope that helps. 👍🏻

Barrel harmonics. If it grips to tight it will affect accuracy.
@Bluelon25 жыл бұрын
This is a shotgun, not a rifle. Barrel harmonics for bird/buck shot, even a slug in a non-rifled barrel, is minimal and not the reason someone missed a target.
@scorpaznatica4315 жыл бұрын
@@Bluelon2 I'm afraid that's a very inaccurate statement. On nearly every shotgun I've used (Mossberg 930 JM Pro, Stoeger M3K, Beretta 1301, Remington VersaMax, and Benelli M2), there is at least a 10-12" shift in POI with slugs at 100yds when the clamp is installed. Remove the clamp, and the slugs shoot much more predictably and consistently. Just about any competitive shooter who has been doing this for a while will tell you the same thing. Good luck out there!

Is this a 24" or 26" barrel? Because at MOA website it states the +6 tube is 7/8" longer than the 26" barrel. I can see yours is not longer than the barrel.

That tube looks to be 1 1/2 - 2 inches past the “true” end of the barrel! Keep in mind that he has an extended choke tube inside the barrel that adds 7/8” to its final length!
