Stouger is impressive. However, you can’t beat the reliability of the Hellcat

Hey SPN loving the mc content. I've had mine for about 8 months and I've been singing the praises of Stoeger. I have 1000rds thru mine so far without any problems. It feels much better in the hand than the Hellcat, at least in my hand. The Hellcat sits ON my hand whereas the Stoeger is IN my hand. I love the blackout rear sight. I wish it had a bright yellor or orange front dot but the white is still nice. Mine was really hard to rack at first but it has broken in nicely since new. The mags are still somewhat stiff. I need an uplula to comfortably load the mags. I had a Walther PPS M2 before this and I think the Stoeger is every bit as nice as my Walther. As far as holsters go, if you're into leather holsters than any leather holster that fits a G43 or FN Reflex will fit this gun. I like Muddy River Tactical buffalo leather holsters. I hope Stoeger starts to get their due.

I got the Hellcat about 6 months back. It was my first gun and I really like the way it felt and it’s capacity to size ratio. I recently got LCP Max without even holding one, but because of your videos and others, I was confident I’d like it. I think the Stoeger with night sights might be my next. I use to wonder why you had so many guns that were similar size, but it makes sense now. If I’m not going to carry it, might as well get a rifle 👍

I can't say anything about reliability, as my experience is nominal, but the snappiness of the Hellcat, compared to the Stoeger, made the Stoeger feel much better to me. Over time, I might have a different opinion, but since I didn't but either, I won't know that any time soon.

🔥Muddy River Tactical 🔥 makes holsters for almost everything!! Just requested it for the STR9 MC… likely will have soon. They have one for the bigger bro midsize STR9

Waiting for my Stoeger to come in, can’t wait to see you shoot it. Also I think you should check out the Beretta APX A1 Compact, I know it’s a form factor that most people seem to have forgone for the micro 9s but I hear it’s a solid gun and they’re running a rebate for $100 off of it

Stoeger is thinner making it the better pocket gun. But it's heavier

Keep up the good work. My hellcat and HC pro are my fav CCW. I started carrying appendix and really like the safety on the HCs

I got the same Hellcat with the stainless slide in the gear up package, five mags, range bag for $449. I used my discount on the warranty that’s included to buy the threaded barrel and comp separately and it’s been awesome. I’m sure the Stoeger is a fine gun and maybe I’ll get one down the road but for now I like my Hellcat.

I liked the Stoeger, Shield Plus, FN Reflex, and IWI Masada Slim best out of all the micro 9s, at least in hand feel and looks. I've only shot the Shield Plus because I bought it.

Hey , SPN! When will you be able to do a video on the Kimber R7 Mako? I own one and love it, and believe you would love it as well. I will be crossing my fingers hoping to see a review from you on it soon. Keep up the great work.

Read my mind on this one. I’ve been eyeing the Hellcat for a while now. I wanted to see this exact side by side. The Stoeger is nice and a hard comparison. I think I’m still leaning towards the Hellcat though

Saw a cylee bear optic on one of your firearms on a short. Can you do a video on your thoughts an experience with it if you get a chance. I’ve been seeing them a lot lately curious how they hold up

Been hearing some murmurs about an updated 26, maybe one compatible with 19 like the 47 is or a 26L kind of thing. Just rumors or heard anything similar?

Only thing I will say is the 43x is technically the same thing because of aftermarket mag technology, which is the same thing, just arguably not as “reliable” as stock. PSA and current gen shield seem decent enough to trust now though. Maybe load a OEM mag and carry those as reloads.

Love the original Hellcat, especially with the stainless slide. It wears so much better than the finish on their black slides ("Melonite" which I think is just their version of black nitride). One thing I'm confused about though is that why do all the proprietary versions of black nitride always seem to suck? Am I wrong abut that or is that how it really is? If so, anyone know why? (Like SIG's Nitron finish and some others also... but then again, Tenifer if the original black nitride if I'm not mistaken and it's one of the best for sure... and then the standard generic "black nitride" is excellent in most cases I've ever seen).

Have the magazines loosened up for you? Almost every reviewer I've seen mentions how stiff the mags are while loading.
@wireless12353 ай бұрын
The problem is once you pay the extra for the night sights and optic cut, the Stoeger goes up into another price class and it isn't as competitive.
@johnj.baranski65533 ай бұрын
Why? Is it more than the others?
@wireless12353 ай бұрын
It's close to the main brands, which already come with night sites. The sig 365 and Hellcat can be had for around $500.
