Granfia player here. Just happy to have it in the tier list. It is my first deck and I am enjoying it so far. Hard to win against Luard Stride decks however I still manage to pull wins every now and then.

Regarding hand, I run Luster Impact, Darian, and Yolanda and the draw is good. However, I do wish that there is a card that allows me to draw BEFORE the battle phase.

Yes! I forgot to mention Luster Impact indeed. The draw before the battle phase would do a lot to help us draw into that perfect board! Lets hope bushiroad supports it again in the near future its a neat strategy to play around with!

FINALLY PEOPLE THAT RECOGNIZE WHAT GRANFIA CAN REALLY DO! 😢❤❤. So many people just seem to forget that Granfia can swing at you for easy magic numbers when in neutral MUs. Of course it ain't meta but its one of those decks that is basically "Fuck around and find out" when the MU doesn't have removal.

Even when they have removal the amount of plant gauges it can spam is so crazy! I believe Granfia is really underrated because not a lot of people seem to have experience playing against it after its initial release!

@@ValkyriesChosen Absolutely! Hand size with the deck is terrible even when running Draw triggers. We only have Darian (1st Promo) and Yolanda to mitigate our poor defenses.

@@ARCHIVEDSTUDIOS You can also run Luster Effect dragon as a second attacker as well as extra hand. But yeah I agree you lose hand pretty fast after turn 3-4

Our reasoning was that Magnolia Masques benefits from all the same support cards as Magnolia Elder. While Magnolia Elder is stuck on their base g3 going first, Magnolia Masques can always decide to ride up and lose out on the P ride just to enable all the extra backrow attack. It also has that counter charger now, which makes the mass revival support card a lot easier to use. A lot of points are in favour of Masques since it's both power and speed that seem to be important in this meta! I do have to add that I tried a few different builds for Magnolia Elder and sure it had some good draw power but I really felt like the deck only started playing the game when it got to Elder and even then it wasnt always scary enough for my opponents due to the average rearguard hitting 18k ~ 23k

@@ValkyriesChosen yeah you are right but also just saying in my opinion elder is a lot more generic wise because lots of cards for its type are okay with its play style and go towards that but masques is a lot better then it was before I mean a simple bit of retire on their board then they would be dead but now definitely not

Also hoping for a new flagburg too it could have glory maelstrom skills in V Prem where your opponent can only guard with 1 card with no intercept and your front row units get 10k power

happy to see Lianorn is still a great deck!! she gives off the coolest vibe in her masques form many good things are happening for Stoichea but better things for Dark States so maybe that one is next??? 👀👀👀

We're still working on the Dark States list doing some more testing to make sure we can give an as accurate as possible tier list! Lianorn Masques really has one of the coolest arts doesn't she!!

The fact about Maelstrom that really needs support it's because the lack of power and multi attack which isn't enough to finish the game and your right we need our glory Maelstrom to get the spot light and I hope we might get that in DZ for neither booster set 4, 5, 6, 7 or even 8 and I hope that the festival booster set might get generic stoicheia tear dragon cards and DZ booster set 3 can contains proper Maelstrom support which makes the deck decently better

Ive thought about us getting a better blue storm armada card too! Or maybe ways to put them into the order zone faster so we can benefit from the 5k. One thing I can say tho when I experimented with Hilaria from set 11 I did get some good results since you can put the 10k on any unit during the battle phase helping you scale better! Cant wait for them to print something like that on a tear dragon!

Let's be honest I hope that festival booster will might contain a generic tear dragon card that can activate for neither counter blast or energy blast which it can do re standing in the first or second attack of that turn and this unit can increase the power then put it into the soul too draw at the end of battle which is a good card for Maelstrom so that you can save up our cost and increase the soul on the next turn too call tidal assault then other generic stoicheia card which is a common card that can do counter charge 2 for refill the cost for Maelstrom and tidal assault then lastly a generic stoicheia card from DZ booster set 3 that can increase the power from not just the vanguard also the front row rear guards as well since the main problem of Maelstrom was due to lack of soul verity, power creep, the cost for counter blast and finisher and I hope that we can see Glory Maelstrom coming back in D standard in the spot light for neither DZ booster set 4,5,6,7 or even 8 depends because Maelstrom needs more love and support and we might get a few support for Maelstrom as well

average mushiking enjoyer here. deck is pretty solid in pre-dzbt01 meta. 23k /28k swings and 20/25k swings from the get go is near unblockable for the most part which pushes most decks to high damage early. its only real downside is that the deck has to play fast otherwise it will be the rule of sack as you mentioned. its also a weird one to face since if you give it enough cb you can give it access to its 6 drive check turn which increases the chance of sacking even more. brought this for a bcs, went x-2 and most of my wins came from opp just not having enough shield power to guard the early swings and ending the game on my first turn 3 ride, unfortunately was bubbled due to one of my teammates losing via overtime rules. post dz-bt01 is where the mushiking gets powercrept in a way (sadly) since the relevant decks either straight up counter what mushi wants to do or have a sturdy early game play against them as a side note, majority of players dont know what mushi does let alone what to do against it and gets caught off guard by it

I think youre right in the regard that the deck can be the scariest thing if you've never played against it! But even so if your opponent knows the deck you can sometimes just win by sheer overwhelming power! The defensive powercreep all decls are getting was quite needed to get a better matchup into this deck!

Its true that Mag Masques has seen its tops but based on the information I found both the other decks still have more tops. We do have to keep in mind this is for the DZBT01 meta!

We're working on making it as accurate as possible! Lyrical does have a lot of ride lines to consider so we'll need some time for that one 😉 we're definitely planning to make one
