Bluefin Tuna Okuma Style

This past September Stoked On Fishing rallied up with the guys from Okuma Fishing Tackle to test out some brand new product on the Simrad boat and wouldn't you know it we got lucky and had Mr Bluefin Tuna join the party and cooperate.

Nice fishing on a private boat where they allow you to fight your fish. The guy thumbing the spool at the end got lucky it was a small fish. Most beginners pop knots or break the line doing that. Love all the gear.

With all this advancement--still no rod belt? Stick the rod in the gut, or the groin? Really? BUT, I love to see a man NOT on his knees, and rod braced against the rail. And no "hand off", one man, one fish, gotta love that.
