I’m leaning more towards the steps. I have a toddler so just need it for a toddler chair basically until they are old enough to transition to a normal dining chair. I know you said it holds 87kg but you sure it will be good to use as a toddler chair?

We love it as a toddler chair! A few favourite things: the elevated footrest allows your child to be in an ergonomic position for mealtime, and also allows independence for your child to climb in and out on their own as they get older. The seat is also raised, allowing your child to eat more comfortably (and with arguably less mess!) at the table. The seat is super easy to wipe clean - which is always a bonus in our books!
