Hey Kotton, about the M4 that didnt have the attachments on it that it used to, if you insure a weapon it ensures all the attachments on the weapon too, if you then swap them out for uninsured attachments you wont get those back from insurance.

yeah I know, but the thing is , i dont buy m4's or bother to mod them myself. All the m4's i have are stolen. I only like to buy ak74n's and mod them to the absolute max and they are really good

Doesn't firing tracer rounds defeat the purpose of using a suppressor? Victims can't hear the direction shots are coming from, but they can see it. I reckon it doesn't matter for scavs (at this point) and apparently tracer rounds have the most punch at the moment but still, the combo feels odd to me.

I use the Tracer rounds for AK as they have the highest damage of all the ak ammo. I know its weird, but I get it working.

Basil you Sir, just won a KZbin Medal for that comment. I know it's just a game, but I got told: "Son, tracer rounds work both ways". Normally you would run a suppressor in combat for noise and muzzle flash suppression. On top of that they have a ear protection purpose and allow the shooter to maintain better awareness of their surroundings (it also makes communication with your colleagues easier.. shouting over gunfire can be tricky) I get all that. But EFT is such a sound depending game. The main advantage to run a rig with suppressor is that your target can't locate the shots until their screen goes black. Shooting a laser beam at them takes that advance away. No drama and IRL there might be good reason to run the combo, but in the game (against players) it seems like a odd choice. Kotton obviously proves that it works. I was just curious if he got any reasons besides the fact that the tracer round pack a little more punch (in the alpha).

Well if someone is in a building and can't see your tracer rounds you're still hidden bc they can't really hear your gunfire

They didn't take the pieces off of it, you insured it before you switched to new mods and so you only got back the pieces that were insured.

Hey Kotton Ive got an idea for the helmets in the game. I think that the standard helmet in the game right now should only protect your head and not your face, and they should introduce 2 more helmets, one of them could be those Russian helmets with the big metal face protector that would limit your vision when in was in the down position. The second new helmet would be like docs from Rb6 Siege and have a clear ballistic plastic face protector and that would be the rare valuable one. What do you think?

R4-C is a Remington rifle designed after the M4 build, so they are fairly close to each other. M4s are also a more compact rifle along with the c version of the R4, which typically means 'compact', surprise surprise. So you'd be correct.

i've heard that US army veterans that have seen some action say: "you need 5-15 rounds of m4 to kill a guy, you need only one shot from RK" (which is pretty much a copy of AK, shoots same rounds and pretty much has same parts in it) (i feel like they killed guys they talk about had some armor.. i dunno if that would make any sense against naked guys)

Ak has: bigger bullet, more weight on bullet, better penetration (over 2x better) of bullet, more energy (Joules) But less velocity, shorter effective range, less firerate and less accuracy. So i think real answer is: AK is a beast at close range but M4 is better from distance.

This question depends entirely on the AK. Original AK-47's and AKM's fire 7.62x39mm. The same round as an the SKS. There are also many AKM/47 copies like the Type 56. The modern AK-74 variants in Tarkov fire 5.45x39mm. The dev's want to add as much of the Kalashnikov family as possible.

Keep in mind Kotton has skills unlocked that help with weapon handling, he probably has some experience in the weapons them selves making it easier to handle, he could have modded out his weapons to allow for greater control AND he has played plenty enough to know how to control the recoil just by personal play. Some of the weapons have insane recoil unmodded with no skill progression

I would love to have your frame rates. look I play on factory and woods with round about 60-80 fps, which I can enjoy very much, but when it comes to customs or shore line, the game just get me MAX! 35 out of it... it sucks so fucking much. my specs are gtx 1050 ti fx9320 and 8 gigs ddr3...
