sweet! i wrote a Fibonacci Music Box clone for Bela's Pepper module - some interesting differences, which make me want to revisit the patch :) i took the starting numbers to be a percentage of the modulus, so that when the modulus changes, the starting numbers stay below it. but it also means that they go up when the modulus increases. not sure if that was necessary :) will def test this version on my O&C!

Thank you so much for all this work. You have such great ideas and you steal beautifully. I really think this brings Hemispheres/Benispheres alive. I downloaded the update.dat, shoved into my O&C and it works fabulously. I really like the DivSec and Pigeons. Very creative and very fun. The only thing I can't find is the a way to get to is the check boxes for performance mutes on DivSec. There's just an encoder and a button and I can't find a combination of short click, long click, double click.... that will show those boxes. Can you tell me what I need to do for that? I'm sure it's obvious but....

I might be too green, but I am still not sure how to navigate to some of the menus that you show and/or know where to assign in/outs. So I can match your settings, but it does not work they way it does for you. Drat.

Ok so I love the concept of O_C but man the screen is too small for my bad eyes. Is the OCP X screen larger or is there a version which has a larger screen?
@Phazerville8 ай бұрын
OCP X is the same size... I think I've seen larger ones on DIY builds tho, so it's possible. Streaming display over USB is a good way to view it larger, we might try to make that more accessible

Awesome! Is there a Dual Envelope Generator applet? Seems like such a simple yet useful applet to have. Simple AD would be enough. Also, I'll leave a suggestion: an emulation/version of the module "Traffic" (by Jasmine and Olive Trees). Basically inputs 1 / 2 take a trigger. Any time a trigger is received on input 1, two (user defined) CV values come out of outputs A / B. Input 2 is the same as input 1. In case of simultaneous triggers, input 1 overrides input 2. A lack of a summed trigger output (as in the Traffic module) could be fixed by multing/summing the triggers outside the app. Alternatively, output B could be a summed trigger output of 1 / 2, and out A is the sole (user defined) CV value out per trigger input. Thanks for your work. Cheers!
@Phazerville7 ай бұрын
There is a single channel "AD" applet, and a dual "ADSR" applet. There's also a full-width "Scenes" app that mimics J&OT Traffic - I may implement an applet version eventually 😉
@gdrdm7 ай бұрын
@@Phazerville Thanks for replying! Oh wow, I didn't know about "Scenes", I will try it out as soon as I get home. The dual "ADSR" applet outputs the same value on both outputs though, no? I feel a dual simple but independent "AD" generator (so different decay times or attack/decay times on each output) would be very handy for small systems. Cheers!
@Phazerville7 ай бұрын
I expanded ADSR to 2-channel somewhat recently - each output has independent settings. More work could be done on improving the UI and whatnot. Piqued is also still available for a super deluxe 4-channel Envelope Generator!
@gdrdm7 ай бұрын
@@Phazerville Oh man, thanks so much, I thought the ADSR was the same as in the older Hemisphere firmwares. I will check all that out. Thanks for taking the time to help out and adding to the suite. Cheers from Lisbon, Portugal

Hey, really nice applets, but what do the CV inputs in Div Seq, Poly Div and pigeons? Thanks
@Phazerville3 ай бұрын
...I'll take this as my cue to update the wiki docs 😅 I tried to explain in the vid: Pigeons = modulo number for each channel. For DivSeq & PolyDiv, they act as gate inputs, which engage XOR behavior > 0.5V

I just updated the one uO_C I have that’s not under warranty to v1.7- partly to get access to Pigeons- but I was disappointed to note that I only get a few of the original O_C functions, Quantermain not among them. Did I pick the wrong firmware? I went for the only one that didn’t require VOR or Teensy 4. I am very reluctant to invalidate the warranty on the other two modules if it means losing Quantermain!

You can get Quantermain and other stock apps with a Custom Build on GitHub! v1.7 is still beta, but the custom builds include all the newest applets ;)

If I were to get the Plum Audio O_c with VOR would I have any trouble flashing and using the Phazerville firmware? Would I need to calibrate the module or can I just flash the firmware?
@Phazerville5 ай бұрын
I'm pretty sure new Plum Audio units ship with Phazerville by default - no trouble at all! Calibration settings are retained when reflashing, and are still compatible with older firmwares.
@gdrdm5 ай бұрын
@@Phazerville Hey, thanks for replying (again)! I'm in Europe and would probably buy from their retailer (Elevator Sound - EU). They ship it either with stock fw or Hemispheres (confirmed by email with them). But so flashing Phazerville should be no problem, I guess. Thank you and best to you!

Hey quick question on clock settings. With an external clock being sent in, is there a way to have each channels multiplier actually affect the rate of the incoming clock as it outputs it? If I send say 120bpm from Pam’s to TR1, then above it I set to 4x, it still just moves at 120. Is there something to do with the sync setting? I’m a little stumped
@Phazerville2 ай бұрын
The multipliers are only active when the internal clock is running. Passive input multipliers are something I've been thinking about as well, but that's a different story... stick to the ClockDiv applet for now.
@Phazerville2 ай бұрын
Anyway, Clock auto-stop is coming in Phazerville v1.8, so don't fret
@kevinaaronson8 ай бұрын
Wow inspiring work. Can't wait to try them out. Silly stupid question, is there a way to output the internal clock? I find it much wasier to use the internal clock (with its many multiply and divide options for each output) to sync my drum machine.
@Phazerville8 ай бұрын
You just gotta use an applet that will pass it thru - Button2, or ClockDiv at x1, or EuclidX with one side filled, or PolyDiv with just /1 assigned to one channel. Or Metronome...
