My pleasure - thank YOU! Just out of interest, what do you think of the way I'm editing the videos lately compared to the older vids? I'm trying not make them more 'to the point' but without losing the personality I try and keep in. P.S. Let me know how how you get on with that 4th bar... ;)
@skippto3 жыл бұрын
@@ScottWhitley The way you are now editing is brilliant, far more to the point. This has actually improved your persona, as you now come across 'very punchy' which really improves your likability & makes for great entertainment. Especially for someone like myself who will rewind & repeat the video again & again. Its now 'bang bang punch'... If that makes sense. As for bar 4. I have chickened out & gone quivering behind the curtains & replaced it for the easier version. However, I will persist with the complicated fingering as it sounds great when you do it... So I'll practice it a little bit here & there. Thank you again for the great Vids.

Obviously a Warwick and short scale and a version of the Corvette, but which version is that? Is it a custom or is it a production model? Great video; I've always loved this song and solo.
@ScottWhitley3 жыл бұрын
Hi Christocr! It's a Warwick FNA Corvette - a pretty old one too. It's on loan to me (I neede something with a MM pickup for that LJ tone). It's actually a long scale but Warwick have historically offered short scale options (never actually owned one). Thanks re the video -.muxch appreciated! Yeah - it's an awesome tune! @ScottWhitley2 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael! A low action helps a lot, as do light strings. Before that it's worth checking the nut slots are cut low enough as this makes a HUGE difference - not just for the left hand slap, but for playing in general! :)
