I'm from the US but I have listened to and love STOMPIN' TOM for several years and ABSOLUTELY LOVE his music!! His music is original and shows his love for 🇨🇦 🍁 CANADA!! I had to get another computer and lost all the music of Stompin' Tom as well as favorites of mine from Australia as well as the USA!! I don't care much for all this so called country music of today, so my favorite music is mostly from the 60's 70's and earlier. May GOD welcome Stompin' Tom with the words: WELCOME GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT, ENTER THOU INTO YOUR HEAVENLY HOME!!

Listen to that fiddle here at the start. If that is not Maritime fiddle I don't know what is. Tom is not getting all the love he should be getting. There must be more Canada can do for this amazing man. A stamp. A statue, etc? He is our Hank Williams here in Canada. I saw him in Concert 4 times. Have all his records. He is amazing. God Bless Stompin Tom Conners. No one here in Canada like him. He will always be remember by me till the day I die. RIP TOM. Love and thanks for your great music.

They did have a stamp made for him during what I believe was his last Canadian tour in 2009. When he was in Ottawa, there was a presentation made...and he joked about politicians in Ottawa, that was classic!

I'll never forget hearing Mister Connors' name for the first time: September 11, 1985, in the University of Prince Edward Island Student Union Pub--The Panther Lounge. Although my Mom's parents and relatives are Islanders and Bluenosers, I'd not heard Mister Connors's name. The first time I heard one of his tunes, I thought it was a fun one: Sudbury Saturday Night. God bless Mister Conmors, and may God bless my Canadian cousins, friends, and the other Canadians

Myself and comrades, stumbled in by chance, to a very small tavern in London Ontario, and I had heard the name Stompin Tom and also the song Tillsonburg prior. This is in the heady times of the early 80s and Stompin Tom went thru his repertoire of favorites as a true showman, playing to stoners like us, and the regulars. Show was good, I thought at that time. Now, as I reflect, it was really fantastic and his talent shines so bright, as a brilliant Canadien Super Star. Tip of the hat to yas Tom. Need more youtube material of the man performing.

An entertainer for seniors' homes across Canada, I often sing Stompin' Tom songs to their great pleasure. A long-time admirer of his legend and story, I've had the pleasure of working with his recording engineer Brian Hewson at Escarpment Sound. Tom's two-volume autobiography is a terrific read. I feel close to Stompin' Tom and close to Canada largely because of him. I think that is what he would have wanted me to feel. Thank you for posting his Celebration of Life.

God bless for playing for the elderly. I play the "old folks" circuit around cape cod and I'm trying to incorporate Stompin Tom stuff. He was my grandfather's favorite and his parents were from good ol' PEI. I feel this huge connection to his culture from just south of the border. My sinuses are cleared like drinking a bowl of buffalo sauce. Man, Tim Huss has been holding that maple since Tom passed.

It would've been great to walk with the man through your beautiful country--on the trails, in the bars--but then in listening to his music I feel I'm doing just that. Great man, great music. Thanks to all who supported him throughout the years so that his music could be spread that much further.

I was fortunate to attend some of Tom's concerts, the last time as always he performed with the vigour I had come to expect. When I was a kid Tom used to visit ( in the late 50's) a friends parents here in Ontario, I had no idea who he was he just sat by the fire for hours and played and sang and was trying to sell some records he had made. At the last concert as it ended I was standing enjoying the warm glow that surrounded me from the music and the stories of the evening. He had mentioned a lot of people I had know as a child and a young man. As I stood and watched I noticed that the people my age (40 to 50 at that time) were rising to leave. The younger generation in their late teens to late 20's stood and screamed for more of Tom, At that point another warm glow flooded over me as I realized that Tom has touched and inspired many generations of fans a most fitting tribute to probably the most patriotic Canadian ever. A most fitting tribute to Canada's premier ICON. Every time Tom's name is mentioned or a song is played it takes me back to the days of my youth and the memories of when Tom hitched his way through our town.

Started enjoying Tom's music and talent at the Horseshoe Tavern - first as house band and then as the featured performer with folks lined up for blocks to get in to see him. Attended his wedding reception and dance, and attended his shows as often as possible. Last time I saw him was at the deCoste Centre in Pictou, Nova Scotia. He was a truly unique Canadian talent. His museum in Skinner's Pond is a great tribute. May his music live on.
