@@TabletopWitchCRAFT Quick question: If you are sealing the tiles with polystyrene min-wax with things like water effects... would you seal it first and then pour the water effect? Thank you for your time.
@TabletopWitchCRAFT
@TabletopWitchCRAFT 3 жыл бұрын
@@DavidBluelineGaming I’m not sure what your water effects are made from but if it’s a Vallejo product such as water texture you don’t need to seal it first. I’ve also poured resin right on foam for water effect with success. You just need to be aware of the thickness of the pour…. Too much it will get hot and melt the foam.

One thought I had for the floor tiles - on each side around the edge, put a pair of tiny magnets (negative on the left, positive on the right) embedded near the corners so the tiles actually "clip" together so they don't separate during play.

Some of the squares on this one I plucked out and then replaced with variations. There's one that's taller, a couple that are slightly rotated, one that's cracked down the middle and pushed up like there's something under it growing. The parts that are fully carved out I filled with some dry earth crackle texture (I think I used Agrellan Earth--though apparently this pic was before that was filled in). This was for a specific encounter that took place in "the circle market", but I've reused it for random dungeon encounters, too. photos.app.goo.gl/3TsXh4NWfN5tHe3i8 photos.app.goo.gl/trbKCQSNEAUHt6cDA
