I would say the conflict between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels was a big part of what started it. Steve was a guy who just naturally fit in the Attitude Era like a glove.

Stone Cold and The Rock coming into the company at the same time that was the golden era of wrestling

You're totally off your rocker. The "golden age" was mid 80's to early 90's. Andre, Piper, Hogan, Macho Man, etc...
@pencileater1
@pencileater1 5 жыл бұрын
@@lastlaff2777 I think it's debatable - when the Monday night wars were on, the Outsiders and the NWO and it was really WWF vs WCW that was a pretty amazing time in wrestling - I guess maybe the "golden age" was earlier but the boom in the 90s was quite incredible and can't be denied.
@NEO_RedPill_2024
@NEO_RedPill_2024 4 жыл бұрын
I dunno, I think the golden era was with Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior. That late 80’s to the early 90’s era. So many characters! Just my opinion.
@mwnciboo
@mwnciboo 4 жыл бұрын
Triple H, Stone Cold and the Rock took it to a level way beyond that of the 1980's. But i concede the 1980's had the better Characters, the late 1990's it went global.

Its all show, but at the end of the day, we all go home to our lives safe sound secure. He is humble about his career. Austin was a very underrated worker in the ring. Along with the having mic skills that were second to none, he also really knew his way around the ring, and had a knack for engaging the crowd. IMO, WWE doesn't have anyone on their roster who has a quarter of the ability to get the crowd going as Austin did. If that were the case, WWE would be a decent product right now.

As so many of us do. I've always loved stone cold.. he played the rebel. I've always connected. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to experience, having other people cheer for you for years. Your face plastered on posters.. it must change you. This man is a gem. Im 30 in 7 days.. and while I don't watch wrestling anymore. I couldn't never forget how invested I was every Monday and Thursday (Sundays were meh) .. it meant the world to me. It's been 10+ years since I've watched wresting.. but when I see Steve Austin.. I click
