Wrestling Bios Presents - Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Birth of Austin 3:16
When Steve Austin made his debut in the WWF in late 1995, he thought things would be different. In his mind, he would go to the WWE and become famous while making lots of money as a glorious and popular superstar of the World Wrestling Federation. His expectations were soon put in check when he made his WWF debut as The Ringmaster. The Ringmaster was brought into the WWF as Ted Dibiase's new client, and Steve was given the Million Dollar Championship upon his arrival.
Steve stuck it out with The Ringmaster gimmick for under 2 months before he let the office know his true feelings on the gimmick. He didn't like it, and he needed a change. After the WWF suggested some hilarious ring names for Austin, eventually Steve became "Stone Cold Steve Austin". This video tells the story of Austin going from The Ringmaster to Stone Cold Steve Austin, covering the majority of Steve's 1996 debut year in the WWF.
Topics covered in this video include:
Continue on with Steve's story by looking at his feud WrestleMania 13 match with Bret Hart here: • The Story of Bret Hart...

@1- 20 - 7 LG His injuries and pill taking popped up over night? I was under the impression Shawn was not in good shape for a long time. Going with that, he could have given it back to Bret or not won it earlier. He was precious with the title. It could've easily bounced between them more, if Shawn was so selfish. Probably comes down to the era they both broke in on, where the man would have the title for very long stretches, and once you lose it you were unlikely to ever get it back.

I loved how he went from ring master to stone cold Steve Austin I loved his first feud in the wwf with savio Vega. Those two had some great matches with their beware of dog match being their best match. Also loved his mini feud with Wildman Marc Mero those two had some good matches as well.

It was interesting watching that In Your House Buried Alive match. When he came out with the new theme the crowd was basically silent, no one cared. It's so weird seeing this kind of reaction to hearing that theme since I was conditioned to hear the crowd cheer after that glass shattered; so when it didn't happen it was super weird.
