I got to see Lenny Wolf when he was the singer of both Stone Fury and Kingdom Come. I forget what band played on the Stone Fury bill, but it was Kingdom Come opening for The Scorpions back in 1986 in Allentown, PA. So many great memories of the 80's, Easily the BEST decade, EVER.
@simonwoods880910 жыл бұрын
Great Heavy AOR Pomp from the mid 80's - why this kind of quality had to give way to the grungy austerity of the 90's and 00's is beyond my understanding - this has melody, tight harmonies, high production values, proper vocals - it is not surprising that there is a nostalgia for this material and it seems fashion is changing back for the better these days...
@SuperBenblake9 жыл бұрын
I agree. The 90s were such crap compared to this kind of real music. Grunge is rubbish!!

I absolutely hate grunge and the moronic mediocrity that destroyed the 80's rock scene.

I have all the Kingdom Come albums, and love them all! I just found about Stone Fury, so this is my first time hearing this. Wow, it's fantastic! The first three albums from KC are my very favorites though. Kingdom Come ROCKS!

The first Kingdom Come record was popular in the day, however I think Hands Of Time is the best out of the first 3.

+Joan C. You heard KC first and it will be a part of you always for those times. Some of us how ever heard " Burns like a star " way back then lol. How cool is it to just hear SF now, amazing times we live in. Give it time, SF is the oldest from Lenny so you know it's straight from the heart, yes ?

One of my absolute favorites of the 80s... which is saying a LOT, because we had so much great music coming at us like trying to drink from a fire hose, until the end of the decade... when things had gotten far too formulaic, predictable, and frankly SILLY. But not this band. Loved both SF albums, though the 2nd one was such a departure from this album that it might as well have been a completely different band. But I have fond memorites of both, and even of the Kingdom Come albums. Such a shame that Lenny disappeared... much like some other great artists of the 80s, like Vito Bratta.

The best group of all time would have been to replace Robert Plant in whatcwas a defunct Led Zeppelin and bring in Jason or another drummer with JPJ and lead singer Lenny Wolf. Imagine what level of music with Jimmy Page who did his best work with David Coverdale a great singer in his own right but not in the league of Ray Gillen or the best of the best Lenny Wolf. The Broker of Brokers Theres no such thing as too much swagger..
