Stone Island Shadow Project_5519_AW '011-'012: An Introduction by designer Errolson Hugh

Here we are, back with the Stone Island Shadow collection for the upcoming FW '011'012 season. No one better than the mastermind behind the project, designer Errolson Hugh, to introduce the new collection. He lends himself to be the hero of this video introducing us to the PARSEQ GRID, the performance system at the base of the Shadow Project since its inception and the FW collection pieces, explaining concepts/design/technical features/functionalities, all thought for a perfect symbiosis between item, environment and wearer. Nothing is left to chance, as in the best Shadow tradition. All shown (and worn) in this video.

Lol you guys are so late. Stone Island was a thing in the 90's and early 2000's. The quality has gone down since then with a few exceptions. in England there's a stigma with wearing Stone Island because of hooligans. it's that bad.

Deus Ex and Stone Island is a match made in heaven . I do wish they would make different tiers of the same garment though , Musterbrand can do it so I don't see why not .In fact I'm sure ACRNM helped them with technical diagrams and material etc. You will only see very wealthy ex-football hooligans and gangsters in it . They had a oven baked space-age reflective liquid jacket, that they made a hundred of , sold out within minutes .It must have been many many thousands, one of a kind they said and they will never make any more . Don't get me wrong they are nice , but I think the reflection is OTT. If your wearing this driving people will assume your a cop ha-ha ! If you get out your car wearing it and a car goes by you will light up like a Christmas tree ! Love the all white futuristic badge !

I was a fan of Helmut Lang, Y-3, Stone Island, and CP Company before I became aware of Acronym. It's really nice stuff but difficult to obtain. It's easier to obtain designer goods from run of the mill designer brands, i.e. LV, Gucci, Prada, or CoSTUME NATIONAL. Waiting to find out that Acronym has partnered with some Black Ops group to create the first commercially available exosuit. I imagine that Kevlar and carbon fiber might be used.

Love the clothing, love the design philosophy, love the presentation, but... I lighter color background and better lighting would had gone a long way to make this presentation even better. It's really hard to appreciate the clothes when they are mostly a dark color clothes on a dark background...
