That duck was so intent on eating that fish, but it was having a difficult time since the fish was so big!

What a great looking place. Thanks for showing me, this is on my list now. I wish the Herschends would do something like this with the property they have in Branson.

Same with Amy, I love putt putt, but I am not a fan of golf! And to answer your question, John, of your jokes, I don't find myself eye rolling (much) LOL! Just kidding 😂! In all seriousness though, you both never fail to make me smile😊! Abigail 15

Did I hear Amy say she lived on a golf course in Grandview, MO? I’m old enough to be y’all’s dad, but that comment sparked a memory for me. I attended grade school in the Hickman Mills School District (Grandview) years ago although I’ve lived mostly in Texas where I am now.

How many days do u suggest we do for my kids to be able to do everything? Bc we are going there tomorrow and do u know if we buy a day pass if we like it and want to come again can we upgrade them to an annual pass?
@TPF2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I'm not sure if you can apply the cost of the day pass to an annual pass. You could see a lot of it in a day, but if you live close, I think an annual pass would be well worth it!

In 1958, the Governor of GA purchased Stone Mtn to show Georgia's opposition to racial desegregation. In April 2022, The Stone Mountain Memorial Association approved an event hosted by the Sons of Confederate Veterans, a group promoting hateful myths about the Confederacy. As our nation began to confront the ways in which our leaders supported slavery, Jim Crow, and other forms of oppression, the Georgia government strengthened the law that protected the Stone Mountain Carving and other Confederate memorials. Georgia spent $777,695 in 2021 on this racist memorial rather than on real infrastructure projects that our communities actually need! Want to learn more? Join the Stone Mountain Action Coalition and work for REAL PROGRESS: REMOVE confederate flags and memorabilia; RENAME park streets and buildings; STOP selling confederate items in the gift shop!!

Sorry sir but history is not going anywhere, that bitch promising to remove it (which could cost millions and is illegal to do so) lost the governor election by a large margin. The stone carving is a piece of art and a monument dedicated to Americans that stood against an unconstitutional government like the one we deal with today, all 3 of those men were devoted Christians and their hats on their hearts is meant to be them praying therefore making this a Christian symbol, we may disagree with some of their views today but by modern standards almost EVERYONE would be considered racist, not just Confederates. History offensive or not must be preserved and this is more or less the Mount Rushmore (which is also technically racist by you fools' logic) of the South. The South will not give in to hatred from black people or insensitive ignorant fools like you trying to destroy historic pieces. We will continue to honor the soldiers of the Confederacy for their valor and loyalty to their homes, we will eventually restore many of the monuments vandalized or removed and we will continue to oppose white supremacists, especially those who dare use those honorable men as their mascots. This carving does not hurt anyone and draws the attention of thousands every year, regardless of who it depicts, it's a remarkable piece any artist or admirer of art can appreciate.
