@ 11-00, Eric seems to be raking level a barrow load of builders sand but this not the correct base for turf/grass to thrive. Shouldn't it be a mix of peat / top-soil / horticultural silver sand?

Not a bad job, don't like the idea of using grit on wet lawns dries it out enough so you can move it to prep it, but don't hold the moisture during the summer so brown lawns, few to long straight joints it the paved area , but apart from that it looks o.k 🤪

It's an inspection chamber. If you don't know what an inspection chamber is, it's basically a manhole sited at a junction or bend in a drain to allow clearance of blockages.
