Brother you are so correct. Music of my youth. The four together was magical and they of course had such a very unique tone, style, etc. I am a lifelong drummer and Eric Kretz is one of the best groove and pocket drummers. Super solid. Then you have the DeLeo bros who both kick ass, and Scott..... I love how he move while singing with his little dance. Like R&R James Brown

a truly magic performance. old sad eyes weiland could turn it on when he wanted. dean's tone is nothing short of crushing. Robert = the cool. Eric is some sort of animal. tasty how he times those very sparse, very enormous crashes. these guys. catch the excellent moment at the end, right before outro? Scott looks at Robert after their cool harmony bridge, Robert catches that vibe, shoots it to his brother, who sort of grins and nods. these moments are magic. saw these guys live a few times. it always struck me as odd that they get lumped in with general 90's bands. they were a gift to the world. even their various solo and side projects are all far superior in quality to their peers. it really didn't hurt to have brendan o'brien behind the board. I'm glad we have the albums and the footage. forgive my romanticism. it's a broken world and I'm trying to remember another time.
