Considering the phrase “went sideways” can also be used to describe something not going according to plan, it fits Stone Tower Temple quite well since if you’re playing the game without a guide for the very first time, you’re liable to have a couple screwups when attempting to complete this dungeon, speaking from experience.

Boy I tell ya. (To preface this, I realize I was a dumbass kid lol) I remember playing this game as a kid, and it took me forever to figure out how to even get to each temple. Getting to this temple (and completing it) literally took me years of gaming.
