@@OGSHAKER2020 with an na motor yes but with a turbo you want a free flowing exhaust. Back pressure would be a hindrance on the turbo making it less efficient.

@@OGSHAKER2020 yes that is what i think. And for the removal of the muffler and resonator, I imagine they do it for the sound of their “engine” not caring about losing some torque in the lower rpm range. When i straight piped my na engine I noticed a slight decrease in acceleration.
