Stone Henge protests. This has always happened, ever since the stone monuments were built. Free people have for thousands of years decided to drop out of the slavery of society and gravitated towards and gate crashed sacred sites. The very essence of ceremony is a gathering of like minds, where for a brief period people can be certain of why almost everyone around is there. And they have always been terrorised by the local landowners, vested interests and sadistic bully boys. The only difference being that the free spirits today are not usually tortured, slaughtered or enslaved. This is every bit a part of the heritage of neolithic monuments, as the stones themselves, both during the time of their original cultural context, and long after their original context had been lost in time. In an ideal world, free sprits would know enough about the archeology not to damage the sites, and would pay for the privilege of using the sites with maintenance work. The state for its part would provide basic facilities to ensure the place is kept clean and everyone on site remained safe. It's not rocket science... just logistics really... which is the key to how neolithic sites were built and maintained in the first place: teem work and good will. In this imperfect world, free spirits should learn about the thousands of other sacred sites around great Britain, that are not nearly as well guarded as stone Henge.

thanku resistance archive,sad the almost complete stranglehold ENGLISH HERATAGE are now gaining on the stones.but the stonehenge festival campaign and dubus people still holding gatherings pon the drove and other close places most solstice n equinox.keep being the small axe that chops at the big tree!

We've had some good times on the drove. A good mate of mine, Carlton, is in this. He's the one talking from 12mins .30secs in. Met him a year or two after this. Still in touch with him. See him a week or two ago, he lives in Basingstoke x

Loved the video. Thanks for sharing. The whole free festival movement scared the shit out of the establishment because it was anarchy in action and on the whole it worked. Sure there were a few bad apples but a lot less than you would meet in conventional society. The majority were the most caring and sharing people I have ever had the privilege of being around. Ali ali ali.

Stonehenge is nothing like its former self it has been dismantled and put back differently three times and nobody know there original alignment somebody didn't want the people to know somthing tunnles where also dug out under .what we see today means nothing and in no way at all represents what it stood for or its real design

And people in Ireland being terrorised to points they actually starved themselves to death in prison of the most obscene deprivation known to man..my question is how do brave men die and people in SO-called power and illustrations of what they demand of others..DIE SAFE AND SOUND IN BED?
