Couldn't the stones have been located closer? How do we know for sure they were 20 miles away at that time? And if the vertical stones are set 10 foot inside ofthe ground could they have pulled them into the holes with ropes with many workers then after the stones were standing vertically couldn't they build up the height of the land area around the 20 foot tall stones with dirt and mud until the land is flush with the 20 foot tops of the stones and then roll the horizontal lintels on top of the vertical stones then dig out the area back to level if they took 20 years and 100 workers? I have no idea...just asking this question

It is thought there was a megalithic age, beginning around 12000 BC, which created many monuments and sculptures which were attributed to later inhabitants who had no technology nor tools nor means to produce.
