Have you considered using watered down modpodge to seal your flock? I find PVA alone tends to rehydrate when it gets remoistened and have had grit fall off and colors leech.

Hmm that may have been what cause the bicarb soda to discolour. That's some good advice I have to pick up some more! Thank you !

what did you make your paint board out of i really like that idea

It was a really thick piece of packaging cardboard (like 2 centimeters), some chipboard for strength and a couple of hooks so I can hang it up.

Where did you source the foam? You sound like you're in the UK? the American stuff isnt findable here

I'm actually from Australia and get this foam from our national hardware store Bunnings, It's called Bastion foam

@@Falvodor oops my mistake! I suppose our accents are distant cousins hahaha, thanks. Doesn't seem like Bastion foam is that available in England, I'll make do with something else :)
