Yes we do lmao. Those lines are so close and the depth is perfect. All it takes is one mistake to get off if you cut in too far... I can't imagine getting to this point, because I never will. Even as a computer guy average Mr. DIYer, I know how tough this is and especially the way he is doing it. Keep up the great work.

He's not actually freehanding those lines, he probably doesn't show this in his videos because then it looks more clean/impressive, but he would have used a template and a metal pen to slightly scratch the surface and then run his pen in that scratch so it shows better

I don't think he freehands, in another video he runs the pencil down a scribe line to color it in. Honestly, using a compass or other drawing/scribing tool is more of a sign of doing it right because you're taking your time. The prep work is the true sign of a master: measure twice, cut once.

Omg, I’m a wood worker and can probably make those same shapes in wood, but I can tell you even with all the tools in the world, making those shapes are time consuming. And he’s making those with nothing but a hammer and a chisel. You gotta have an insane amount of patience to do this kinda work! I give this guy mad props!.

This is amazing. I did masonry for 15 years and it was nothing but terrible looking suburb type houses. People don’t even lay brick where I live anymore. I used to do granite and limestone fab. I'm impressed by this mans use of a traditional mallet rather than air tools and yes those inside radius and fluting is on point with all hand drawn lines

Beautiful work! I wish most of America would still do this type quality craftsmanship. My boyfriend is an artist and stonemason that would love to do this, but the area we live cheap out and either 3D prints or plaster molds this type of work instead of carving the stone. It’s not even an option here... Keep up the good work and the craftsmanship, it’s sadly a rarity these days and should stay alive!
