So, okay I'm not usually commenting on YT but this is just too important to not say. For reference, I have about 1500 hours in 2k21-23 and now EA PGA Tour. First of all, the stutters in 2k23 is a thing. I had them and stopped playing the game once EA PGA Tour: Road to the Masters came out. It's just better. Second: YOU ALL HAVE TO PLAY ON THE SAME SWING SKILL. This is important, PRO is not just a little harder, it's A LOT harder. You guys shoud ALL do pro, that's gonna give you some frickin' fun content. If you want to play fair, everyone play on AMATURE. Third: Controller is the best in the long run, you should all get used to it. The swing timing is better and it's just better. Most golf games doesn't even have the mouse swing, only 3-click, which is just complete BS to be honest. Some insider golf tips: Timing and direction of the line on your swing is most important. Underswing (short or too fast) will go left, overswing (too long and too hard) will go right. As in real golf, READ THE TURF and LOOK AT THE LIE. Use Irons out of rough and use WOODS only on the fairway. The ANGLE of the club is IMPORTANT. You don't care about it now Stone, but the angle of the club will make your ball spin more or less. If you tilt the club back, it will go more up in the air, but shorter and stop faster, less tilt and the ball goes farther and rolls out. Give Tomo a chance, and play the same difficulty! I love this content, because I am the only one of my friends that love golf games lol :)

Not only is the straightness of the shot important, you also need to move the mouse in the correct speed. If you swing the mouse forward too slow, the shot will deviate to the right. If you do it too fast, it will curve to the left. You can see that it says Slow / Perfect / Fast above the lines in the swing UI after you take the swing. That's what Tom means by it deviating even though the line is straight and it's not the wind.

Tom, that’s the same issue I have with real golf. Go to the range and stripe every ball then I can’t hit one straight when I am playing for score.

You can set the same difficulty for everyone when you're creating the match. It's "Open" by default, which means everyone keeps their own settings.

I think you guys are missing out on a lot of functions available in this game. I consistently get double digits under par playing this. You can literally use ‘put preview’ to see the line you chose and then make a correction before you put. Also, you can in cress your drive using loft (L1+down on R analog) if the ind is at your back.
