Are you sure the A2 flash hider actually moved it back 60ish inches? It looks like it hit the rubber bumper and bounced back. I think you might need a longer sled.

I cant remember what the brand is of the break i put on my ar10 a couple years ago before running my suppressor but its a 3 or 4 port that literally reduced my recoil in some of my harshest loads by 80% or more. It had less recoil than my ar15 with a suppressor on it. However, It wasn't very range friendly as it dispersed all the air around me, meaning everyone else could feel it besides me lol, Not a great way to make friends

You should test carbine buffer system vs a5 system vs Geissele super 42 system vs the super 42 rifle length spring inside of the a5 tube. There’s really no forums or videos comparing any of these on a sled like you are

Have you tested a cookie cutter muzzle brake? The big circle’s but only 1 port style? kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWWxpGqKa9J0fpIsi=92oEEyeU89qEkiYy Like this but yours would be a little more scientific with the sled to get a true idea of how well it works vs others. Just wondering if the crazy weight of it is worth it vs another style that’s not so heavy but still small sized single port

I have not tested one. When we did testing on different diameters it did not make much of difference. I would suspect the cookie cutter brake is going to reduce recoil on a sled about 50-60% from an A2 flash hider. I would guess it would not be as good as a good 3 port brake that gets around~68-70% recoil reduction and fall way short of the ~81-84% the best brakes are getting.
