Devlin was in a crew ‘The O.T Crew’ (The Outakers) were a grime collective based in Dagenham, Essex. The extended family of this lucrative unit was ‘The Dogenham Alliance’ Devlin was also affiliated with ‘The Movement’ ft. Ghetts, Wretch 32, Mercston & Scorcher, due to his friendship with Ghetts The two have many tracks/freestyles together. Younger than those in his circle As a lyricist, Devlin was always ranked as one of grime’s best and most illuminated. On mic, he’s ferocious, but zoom out for a second and you’ll find that in between the lines, there’s entrenched social commentary, reflections on politics, globalisation, and the economy.
